you have good camera techniques.. the make up and costumes were horrible, and you NEED audio... otherwise it has NO DEPTH. Good Coreography. and whoever you got to play the joker... needs more UMPH... do some actual character relation excersise and be the joker... dont try to be heath ledger...

Joker and Batman talk philosophy and hit each other. Hm.

The script was weak, way weak. ("Two shades of the same darkness"? Come now.)But the two guys are great. Great Batman voice and great Joker look. We just need to see him laugh. He should have fun with what he's doing. The audio was crisp and the video quality was good. The lighting was bad; we couldn't see Batman's face when we needed to.

But good beginnings for fan material. I was pleasantly surprised. If you made more stuff, I'd watch.

Thanks for the comments. The lighting was iffy at times because of the amount of time and the outlets we needed for the setup, so it couldn't be changed that easily.

You know, that wasn't bad.

While the acting from Batman felt a little *ahem* rasp, the guy who played Joker... was pretty damn good. And not once, not ONCE, did you guys have to resort to any quotes from the film. Every line thrown out was genuine and clever, and almost felt like a comic.

Actually, I'm inclined to say he's far better at acting on a real production than 3/4 of these Joker imitations from people who've carefully analyzed a performance that's already been done and are simply vomiting it back out.

No, no, this- as it states in text at the end of the movie- is more or less a continuation of 'The Dark Knight' worked into a universe incorporating the style of Nolan, Burton, and our own.

Haha, thanks man. We really liked the way our guy did the Joker. I wrote it to be kinda a more reserved version of him- you have to remember Ledger's Joker isn't the FINITE character, just one of many interpretations since the iconic villain's introduction decades ago.

As for coming up with our own stuff- we do. In fact, this is the first real derivative/fanfilm work we've done in recent years.

I don't think they do here either, though. Perhaps they're whole interaction is too civil for your tastes, but if you go back to the original Batman, the animated series, and their two main interactions in the Dark Knight- Batman and the Joker pretty much face-off in the same fashion/style they do here.

Yeah if you look in "The Dark Knight" their first interaction Batman was throwing the Joker around. Their second one, the Joker was hung upside down. They weren't face to face just chatting. Same in the animated series. The Joker would throw his one liners between Batman beating him.

Really, though, I think you have to DEFINE 'jokerish'. As I've said before, Ledger's Joker was really just one interpretation in a sea of others that have come-about over the past few decades.

Even if is the most to your liking, it isn't the finite 'Joker'. Just look at Nicholson's Joker- one that was greatly admired until recently.
