  • FUCKING MUSIC! IDIOT

  • @exploit FUCKING COMMENT HOMO

  • Woot flip pride

  • @XX8XX0XX8XX you got it man...

  • see if you can hit your green card , if you have one.... ;p

  • @TheJayrod33 ahahahaha. actually that sig 522 i got was the first rifle I purchased when I got my citizenship. LOL. I would totally do it but I had to surrender my green card to the government when I took my oath.

  • another stupid utube video with suck loud music....

  • @WESTover7740 redundant topic already man. I'm getting tired of answering your kind of stupid comment. how about you make a video of your own without the music. oh never mind, I forgot you have 0 videos 0 views and 0 subscribers. so in short just shut up! you do not have the right to talk when you are not in the game! you could click back and not watch the video instead of yappin' your flaps like a girl gossipin'!

  • Pretty soon Californians are going to have to have a permit just so they can cock their thumb back and point their forefingers and yell, "Bang!" We live in messed up times. The government doesn't want armed or educated people. They want to control your life and think they know what is best for you. Our forefathers would have revolted against the government by now, but people are afraid to disagree because the government has convinced people it is "ignorant" and "insensitive" to disagree.

  • California's gun laws suck! Can you believe they took away our right to open carry in public? It's a government ploy to disarm citizens so that they they cannot fight back when they enact Martial Law. First they start with California, then all the other states follow. Unarmed people are easy to control. It just goes to show that the government does what it wants when it wants. The Constitution is obsolete and it's all because of Political Correctness. Fight for your rights!

  • You would think that a Mexican would know the difference between a watermelon and a cantaloupe!

  • @hcdub you would think people would know how to distinguish people's race! your point is old man. read the comments regarding that. its getting redundant.

  • @hcdub lol and this test is not accurate at all a .22 has more killing power and federal .22 suck u have to use cci velociters it would of tore that melon up ive gotten much better kills with my .22 then my .17hmr

  • don't play music when your trying to talk in your next video good song but whats the point when your talking

  • @Irishblood555 redundant topic already man. This video was an eperiment for the editor. I apologize for the inconvinience.

  • what dose having a ticket have to do with being able to buy a gun im in texas if your not crazy or a felon you can buy a gun i know cuz i never pay tickets

  • @82syreeta not cali man. It sucks. because it requires your driver's license in completing the application. If you have unpaid tickets it makes your driver's license invalid. my case was a suspension because I totally forgot about it. I didn't know until my FFL called me and told me that my Driver's license was invalid.

  • @jakerussel wow in texas you only need id im from cali though glad i moved to tx

  • @82syreeta crazy huh? I am considering moving to Arizona myself since the border is only 5 miles away from where I live right now anyway.

  • which is better for target practice, a .17 hmr or a .22? I'm looking at at a .22 magnum

  • @TheArwingStudios It depends on what you are trying to achieve. the 17hmr, 22 mag, and the 22lr will all hit its mark if zeroed right. for damage, I would go for 17 or 22 mag.

  • @jakerussel i do long range rifle shooting. I'm getting a rifle next year because i turn 18 next year. i don't do a lot of hunting but i want something that should take an animal down. thats why i was thinking about a .22 over a .17

  • @TheArwingStudios between the 17 hmr and the 22wmr, the 17 hmr has more velocity and so you will hit your target right away, moving rabits, no problem. but, the 17 also has less weight and so it is more prone to wind drift on a windy day. I would say between the two, its about preference. I prefer the 22 mag myself because of the bullet weight put it this way, the 17 is like a 223 for rabbits, and the 22 mag is like a 300 win mag for rabbits.

  • @jakerussel al right, i think ill go with a .22 then. u have been really help full. nice guns by the way

  • @TheArwingStudios no problem man.

  • The music is making me sterile. I'm pretty shocked at the expansion from that little bullet, though!

  • @ScarletAvatar thanks for not being negative on it man. I apologize for the music. this video was created as an experiment for the video editor at the time which I kept telling people. and yup. the 17 HMR is a very good small varmint caliber.

  • those cci alony go 2'400 feel per second if u get hornadys they shoot 2500 fps and are alot more acorrit

  • @redneck6863 I totally agree man. We are gonna have those ammo on the next video.

  • bolt action vs semi auto you loose power with the semi auto

  • @htr44 absolutely correct. it needs to transmit power back for cycling.

  • You play a song like this for a video shooting 2 of the smallest calibers ever made, seriously, lacking in the basement area much????

  • @jbat3535 small caliber or big caliber it still does click click boom...

  • @jbat3535 the 17 is a very small bullet, but its also very effective accurate and fun. Not to mention instead of making little holes in a rabbit like the 22lr, you can just blow its head off. Or, because its so accurate just take the head off of a sparrow at 100yards. The 17, despite its size is quite impressive and personally my favorite round.

  • @cptbfrank Yes, I am well aware of the ballistics capabilities of a hmr .17, however, they do not have the capacity to "kill Coyotes" at 350 yards. The bullet is very small, and looses velocity very quickly. Up to 100 yards, they commonly blow up small game, but at 200, they are at 1200 fps at 15 inches drop, 300, and your at less than 800 fps and looking at 30-40 inches of drop, not to mention the size of the bullet, you can be looking at nearly 30 inches drift at 10 mph wind.

  • @jbat3535 An army sniper with marksman scores would have a lot of difficulty making that shot, not to mention the average joe, the kitchen gun smith, or the little kid who claims to be a sniper. I'm just saying, on a coyote kill at 350 yards with a hmr .17, I call bullshit.

  • turn off the music

  • i have the savage model, those things are amazing, never had a problem with power. if anything it was over kill on beavers and muskrats. easy out to 200yards

  • @ThexBDA don't you just love the accutrigger??? awesome!

  • @jakerussel yes, amazing

  • 17hmr is much more powerfull than 22lr. but on cyote you have to hit it in between the eyes to drop it. 22lr is only power full enough to drop a cyote at 25-50 yards. .223 or 22wmr is a much better for hunting larger game like cyote.

  • @beastyguns I totally agree man. I like the weight in my bullet. that's why I have the 22wmr. instead of the 17hmr. My buddy owns the 17. you should check out my other video of the two cartridges.

  • uhhhh yep thats a cantalope not a watermelon haha

  • @welcome5825 yeah. I feel like an idiot. lol

  • @Thetinfoilhatguy like you...

  • @Thetinfoilhatguy Thanks for watching.

  • the music makes this video almost useless cant really hear shit

  • @Mar093 sorry for the inconvenience man. It was my first video with the editor. thanks for watching though.

  • i love my savage 17hmr. was my first rifle i ever purchased, things a tac driver.

  • Were the 22lr rounds hollow point?

The HMR is a hollow point with a ballistic tip to spread it.

Could this be the difference with the "Cantaloupe" (not watermelon) damage, as if the 22lr was solid, it really just passed right through?

  • @possspam the yes the 22lr was a hollow point. I totally agree with regards to the damage done by the HMR. The bullet travels fast and when it hits, since it has less weight, it spreads right away and creates a huge exit wound. and sorry for the wrong terminology. lol. I got a lot of that.

  • Comment removed

  • u need to compare using the .17 hmr v-max ammo, alot more damage is done

  • what did hear u like it where

  • Why would you use ear protection for a 22 or hmr? ......stupid

  • @lilowl54321 please read the previous comment on that matter. thank you.

  • @lilowl54321 Maybe because both can cause damage to your hearing? Educate yourself.

  • @lilowl54321 you obviously have never shot a .17 hmr

  • @lilowl54321 so when they leave the range their hearing stays 100, very important for hearing DHS rolling in.

  • The targets are cantelopes.

  • @UnseenCaller Ahahaha. I know that now. I didn't though at the time. Thanks for the info man. Thanks for watching.

  • @UnseenCaller Which just happen to be melons...

  • Would've been better without the music.

  • @UnseenCaller I apologize for that man. this video was an experiment using the video editor. but the newer videos would come out without music also due to copyright. I appreciate the positive criticism man. thanks for watching.

  • @horsevet20. Ok.

  • nice MPA, recoil looks like the 9mm, i love mine, put 105 rounds though it today, even bump fired it a bit

  • @jmoney31705 oh man. don't you just love bump firing it???

  • u should have compared it to 22 mag instead

  • @Thetrevorlucas did you not listen to the video idiot?

  • @Thetrevorlucas I already have posted that video. thanks for watching.

  • @jakerussel. Love guns. Keep it up!

  • @jakerussel. Yeah cause I see all these guys shooting .22's with earplugs and I was just wondering.

  • @XxKB299xX you dont need it. its not loud at all. good catch though bro. lol

  • @XxKB299xX lets compare that 17hmr against my 5.56 ar 15 or my 5.45 ak???

  • Why are you wearing earplugs. It's not even loud.

  • @XxKB299xX I actually just forgot to take it off. we were shooting a bunch of handguns and rifles. they were loud so I had to wear them. then when we rocerded the video i realized I was still wearing my muffs. lol.

  • 17 hmr is a very good round but quite a bit more expensive than .22lr.

  • click, click, mute......

  • @TheSoloAsylum ahahaha, I know right. experimental video for the editor. my apologies.

  • A 22 magnum vs the 17hmr would be a more equal comparison. Have you tried the 20 grain 17hmr round by Hornady?

  • @dontbackdown I got that video of the 22mag vs. 17hmr and in that video we used the 20 grain 14hmr. check it out. thanks for watching.

  • @dontbackdown the music ruins the vid guys

  • Is a .17HMR a good groundhog gun?

  • @jimihendrixtribute yes sir. In my opinion it it. because you can stay far away without spooking them and also the bullet travels very fast so you have more chances of hitting your target even if it is moving. Fire rate is not that great because I don't know any semi-auto .17 HMR except for the Alexander Arms Upper for the AR-15. But yeah, I would highly recommend it.

  • @jimihendrixtribute Yes, very good.

And those are cantaloupe, not watermelon.

  • Those 17HMRs are Badass I want to get one But cant find em about how much to they go for

  • @tacticoolness the particular rifle in this video is a savage model 93r17 and it costs anywhere around 250 to 300. I dont know how much other brands cost but I hope this gives you an idea. Good luck man. I hope you get it.

  • @tacticoolness I have seen them as low as $229. I own one that I got two Christmases ago. it is definitley my favorite rifle to shoot and I would tak it over a 22 LR any day of the week.

  • just to clarify, there is a 17 grain and 20 grain .17 hmr round. .... just sayin

  • @johnjurk87 yup there are 17 grains and 20 grains. we were using the 17 grains.

  • next time shoot a .270 vs a 17hmr.

  • @TakingU2Skool we were mainly comparing rimfire cartridges in this video. But I will try it to see your point.

  • looks like cantaloupe.....

  • @greatwhitetailhunter yeah. ahahaha. I didn't know the term at the time to be honest.

  • .17 hmr is no joke

  • Try this test with a big roast with the bone still in it. See how much damage they do against real tissue and bone.

  • the 17 hmr is actually .17 cal not 17 grain. js :-)

  • @lauj87 Yes it is. But the weight of the CCI bullets are also 17 grains.

  • get rid of the loud ass garbage music please.

  • @blaziankhmer experimental video for the editor man.

  • @jakerussel oh i see, well it was a good video minus the music.

  • good vid

    very bad song

  • @MsDaan74 Thanks for tuning in man. stay tuned for more reviews.

  • @ALLisWELLendsWELL I already got it up man... just click on my youtube name and all my videos are there. the title is "22WMR vs. 17HMR". Thanks for tuning in.

  • Good Vid. Try your comparison next with the HMR and the 22 mag.... Post the results......Peace...

  • @RECOILJUNKIE38 Thanks man. I just filmed that today so stay tuned for that vid. Thanks for tuning in.

  • Those are called cantelopes, not watermelons, btw.

  • @bld0121 ahahaha. I know bro.. I wasnt familiar with the fruit at that time. but thanks for the info.
