Well, the U.S didn't put any pressure on the Iraqi police to stop the torture, hell they encouraged it in many cases and a Memo was sent out requesting that NO Iraqi Policeman intervene to stop torture if he came across it. So they kept on pulling peoples fingernails out..
And they still do, routinely. During the early days of the War, my favourite Reporter (Robert Fisk, expert on the Middle-East) couldn't get access to the Iraqi Mortuaries anymore.. because they were locked and under U.S Gaurd in some cases - why was this? It was because the bodies of THOUSANDS of Iraqis showed obvious signs of torture..

As is well-known, Saddam Hussein's Police and Mukhabarat routiney tortured Civilians - the U.S went in to stop torture.. right? Well, the U.S didn't put any pressure on the Iraqi police to stop the torture, hell they encouraged it in many cases and a Memo was sent out requesting that NO Iraqi Policeman intervene to stop torture if he came across it. So they kept on pulling peoples fingernails out..

During the early days of the War, my favourite Reporter (Robert Fisk, expert on the Middle-East) couldn't get access to the Iraqi Mortuaries anymore.. because they were locked and under U.S Gaurd in some cases - why was this? It was because the bodies of THOUSANDS of Iraqis showed obvious signs of torture..
We're not talking about 3 people here, the entire population is STILL brutalized by their Authorities, Iraq is STILL a violent Police State.

Let me also state this very simple FACT. Israel has been and still is our ally for a long time, not the Palestinians. Should America ever be attacked by any foreign enemy military force, will Israel come to our aid or the Palestinians? Since the Palestinians have been and are still carrying out terrorist activities on our homeland, I seriously doubt they will come to our aid in the event of us being invaded by foreign forces.
