This is the exact reason why we need more companies creating computers, video game consoles, cell phones etc.. The microsoft bully aspect is being seen now with xbox vs ps3 vs wii on the Call of Duty series. Microsoft sees the money to be made in the series so they bought out exclusivity rights for it. Even though the game was made for all consoles, they try to make it as much xbox exclusive as possible. If only Google or Apple would make a console.

The trial is about Microsoft bundling their products together. The courts accused Microsoft for monopolizing. They bundled their products like Internet Explore, Word, and whatever the hell else existed back then with their computers. The courts ruling was overturned in 2004 and the judge was found in violation of something. Every company does this now. Why not charge Apple? They, unlike Microsoft, chain you to their software. Or how about Monsanto? The seed monoply. Go Microsoft!

For all the times ive heard he is an asshole in this deposition, he is actually pretty polite. These are quite technical questions but wrapped up in a simplistic way, so how can you agree to them without question when you are legally required to be completely accurate.

Pondering this a bit deeper and wondering how this would have played out now.
