hello, today the same thing happened to me, and I'm an ignorant when it comes to mecanic.

I think my engine has been filled by water and mud because the air intake looks to have been loose of the engine before or while this happened. The ATV started for a while, then didn't even last a minute before cutting back, and it's not starting anymore. Please, help me, what should I do? Should I also change the oil twice? what else should I do?

changed the oil twice i got a foreman 450 an it was fliped upside down in a powned for a hour an we only changed the oil once it stated up after we drained an drove it home

alrite ya'll that sh@t will happen to any atv!!! i have a 702 rincon and a 800 brute both withh alottt of work!!! the rincon is dual snorkled on 31" outlaws and the brute is sittin on 32's, the brute has more balls but requires alottt more work!! ive ripd 2 front diff's out of the brute already and all ive broke on the honda is the front bash plate and the tie rods! whatever machine u like/want thats best for you!!! there is no baddest 4x4 bc tomorrow someone will show up with something badder!!

Man do I know that sick feeling in your gut when you do that. I always put a gallon or 2 of diesel in the oil to wash out the crap. A lot cheaper than thay high dollar oil they sell us at the shop's. Glad to hear you got it up and running.

Ya, we stood it up and drained all the water out. It fired up and he rode it up to the parking area, where he checked the oil only to find it already milky. We kept riding while he took my truck to town for oil and a filter. He changed the oil twice in the lot and rode the rest of the day. Honda! He bought a snorkel kit two days later!!

You'd be surprised, my friend locked his recon's motor. Took a bit to get the water out of the intake and exhaust. Changed the oil and it runs great. Of course his battery shorted out.
