  • That looks like a lot of fun. Certainly going to try this.

  • Can i come out there with you and run my Tapco-ed out Mini-14?

  • "idaho" thats where u r dudnt u say u were not goin to tell us ur pal kinda gave it away though

  • I have dome my share of shooting at bad guys and my resume dates back over 30 years. I currently make a living instructing entry to SWAT level trainiees. My concearns are based on standards established by several profesional organizations. That being said I will list a few. The first is there are 2 shooters and one "safety" person with an obscured view through the camera lens, you 2 shooters moving at different speeds over loose terrain without an independant safety officer monitoring.

  • This was so fun to watch. Man the run and gun has come a long way. I was laughing at some of this. Only because to see you now is such a huge difference. Watching this makes me feel a little better about some of my shooting. I just starting doing run and guns and I don't think mine are as good as this. Very cool, I am glad you left this up. Thanks so much for all that you do. I love the whistle. LOL.

  • WOW So unsafe!

  • @W224

    how so?

  • @W224 who was unsafe? Looked controlled to me. No one muzzled anyone and they had controlled fire. Weren't just blasting the country side... I think you should maybe look at some live action and some advanced training. If you are only shooting side by side and then you have to use your weapon in a RL event you're not going to have a clue what to do. In RL the crowd doesn't clear behind you so you can shoot the bad guy safely

  • Nice Range! Like it!

  • It almost seems like when ever Nutn has his friends do these run n gun courses they always act weird like they don't want to do it. But this one wasn't anywhere near as weird as the Insurgents series.

  • haha bang bang JAM

    that classic m4 there xD

  • This video has been the basis for many fun days of shooting!

I keep coming back to it, thanx Nutnfancy

  • As you come inside your sight in distance you have to aim lower. Im my Marine days, battle sight in was at 300 yards. At 200 yards we had to aim 3 inches lower to hit the center of the bullseye. Lollypop at 200 half moon at 300.

  • For you to be training people your not to good at it, they dont even have a proper grip on there rifles.

  • @FFIAirsoft You have no idea what you are talking about.

  • @FFIAirsoft you my friend are a sad little man. go play with your airsoft guns. i remember when i was scared of a real gun too. when i was 5

  • @SpringFigsXD89 True, I do play airsoft. whatever. But, I also shoot At blackwater/XE all the time, training by the instructors who are my family friends, who are a hell of alot better shots then this guy. Assume you think you know what ya'll are talking about and know everything.

  • Boise State!!!!!

  • anything planned for Miami,FL

  • kel tec specifically does not like wolf ammo. that shit is cheap...

  • Invest is an airsoft gun and learn instinctive shooting... then try it with the real rifle... after enough practice you dont have to look down the sights at that range...you just point and click. The best shooters at that distance dont use the sights to judge where the bullet is going, but this comes at a price of YEARS AND YEARS OF PRACTICE NOT TO MENTION THOUSANDS OF ROUNDS... thats where the airsoft comes in.

  • these dudes run like penguins. looks like pretty good fun

  • these dudes run like penguins

  • SU-16C and CA, what a beautiful, ugly beast. But after braking in it works great right? Thinking of getting a CA and getting a redlion rail, or some name I don't remeber. If you did test this or any other rail system for the Kel-tec SU-16 type system please give me a heads up if its a good rife and if theres any good rails. WORD, stay safe!!

  • Great vid

  • God Bless USA - thanks Nutnfancy for another informative vid.

i'm going to go try my first competitive shoot next month

  • your buddy with the kel tec is gonna wish he had worn a different sweatshirt for this video after labor day. The broncos aren't gonna know what hit them.

  • I'm going to start doing this with a group of friends, I love shooting, and running, and used to play airsoft competitively. I've been getting sick of the range gaurds at our local ranges so we started shooting in the desert, now im just sick of sitting still. This is a great idea and looks like some fun training. Thanks TNP!

  • @masteroftables All fun and games untill someone pokes an eye out

  • Shout out to the boys on the front lines. Huachuca Mountain Militia

  • true inspiration for JAYBEESWORLD

  • wow go america? or something?

  • I quite like the Kel-Tec RFB..

  • 5:09 i thought somebody's gun went off!!

  • Great videos.....Lots of fun. Good times with good people

  • Damm Nutn you need to do classes.!

  • proper gun safety...people like these show that guns are safe and fun in knowledgeable hands

  • blue guy just died lol

  • Would love to get into something like that. Looks like a good experience.

  • nutnfancy your buddies need some PT.

  • @pm2424 Put up a video showing them what they need to be doing and I'll be glad to pass it along

  • Just wondering if you have ever done a review of the Springfield M1A, particularly the Socom II and how it compares to the Socom 16 and the normal M1A with a 20" barrel. I have heard that the Socom II can engage targets effectively at 350m. I own one and was just wondering what your input is. You and your crew are very informative and your input would be appreciated. Keep up the good work and keep the videos commin please.

  • go broncos!!!

  • getting in front of someone shooting, just wait for something to go wrong.

  • you guys with the negative comments aren't looking at the big picture. They're just beginning and you get to compare two different rifles to help determine what you can do with less money. They're not trying to be killers

  • i got your back on that one sir.........their missing it.

  • maybe he should learn how to take out the mag first..

  • less shoot more pt

  • You still finished early? That sounds like a personal problem.

  • when jams happene we learned sports in the army slap pull observe release tap squeeze

  • Some real killers.....nice to see good tactical marksmanship....way to clear your "jam" so good. You guys must some real badasses...NuthinFancy is the real expert though....nice trigger slapping and "shotgun" group!!!!!!

  • I will

  • 6:20 lol'd

  • This looks like so much fun I wish I was there! 5 stars!

  • nutnfancy, Why dont you start a carbine course/class? it seems you have a lot to pass on to the rest of us.

  • Minute of bad guy.

    Nice.

  • I love these "Run n Gun" courses that you run

    NutnFancy.

Tactical carbines huh,Adds a new twist to the traditional AR-15.

  • you hit a great point on your anotation, use the whole course time. In real situation you may not have as much time to place shots in, but during course fire...your score will definately improve. I've seen alot of guys running department pistol courses over the years get sloppy during the 25 yard distance on handgun and really fub their score up, most of the time you're working with a full minute and you should slow down for best results.

  • If you have a jam drop the mag and clear the action and put it a defernt mag and you dont add time to the drill for jams. the bad guys arnt going to stop shooting cause of a jam.

  • tht jam was a double feed jam learned tht from the art of of the the tactical carbine

  • this video is proof that accuracy is in the hands of the shooter

  • Solid Kel Tec su -16 video. I own one and so far it is awesome with a p mag 30 rounder magazine.

  • Damnit i want a Kel-Tec Su16. I love my Mini 14 Tactical but damnit those Kel-Tec's are badass

  • looks like bend oregon

  • naw probably California. That guy trying out the new gun was dodging a fucked up Technicality we have. It says that any long gun with a pistol grip is an assault weapon, so he dodged it by taking it off. That or you can a tool to remove the magazine.

  • thats how the gun comes its th su 16c

  • can you shoot in the desert in ca?

  • as long as theres a good backdrop and you're far enough away from any buildings it should be perfectly legal.

  • car bean?

  • I NOTICE u cover the serial number on ur guns, can i ask why? sorry am from uk and have never held a gun! is it cos pepole can use that number? sorry its off topic nut

  • i think its a privacy issue, kinda like you wouldn't want your license plate on the internet.

  • Good vid!

Just a word of advice, the .22 conversion kits are pretty solid now. Makes for the ultimate trainer. I have a dedicated .22 upper and another conversion kit from Spikes that urn very well.

  • Glad to see an SU-16c in use. I'm really getting pumped about that gun.

Dude Nutnfancy kills me with the smack-talking lol.

  • Word? word. word....

  • @ 2:00

You're using an ar-15? Well, there's your problem right there! :-)

  • No the other guy was using an ar, the guy that had a jam was using a su 16

  • You think that's an AR? Well, there's YOUR problem.

    that cracks me up

  • Very helpful review! I've been extremely curious about the SU-16 and this provided some good practical info about their performance. Do you know if the SU16 jam that the first shooter encountered ever cropped up again? Or was that just a new action getting settled in?

Great video - keep it up!

  • no he cocked it twice on accident

  • holy clown show!!!!!!

  • i freak'n' love guns

  • hey nutn whats up man. look i just bought a shotgun so now i have 2 rifles 1 shotgun and 2 hand guns. im looking for a gun safe. and from your videos you have alot of guns. i was just wanting to know how your stored your guns. or if you have a video out on it yet thanks.

  • Not nutn but i store in a 3 hour fire rated safe that bolted to the floor

  • nails on the wall just like a gun store :)

  • nutn, next time u go out for a run n gun, take ur mini14 with ya (please). love to see how it works in comparison to the kel tec & ARs

  • I would also love to see that. I have a mini 14, but am wayyy to cheap to buy an ar. :P id rather get an ak for the price of an ar. :P

  • you can get ars for as low as 650-700.

  • Low speed

  • AMERICA FUCK YEAAAAAA

  • rangers11000,

    hahahahahahhaah hilarious and eww rahhhhhhhhh

  • @rangers11000 Coming again, to save the mother fucking day yeah! Holy shit I love that movie.

  • @rangers11000 team america my good sir. we need to be a team or else we will fail as a unit; not as individuals

  • so are you a NRA instructor teaching these guys?

  • Next time you come to idaho. Let me know I do a run and gun with my stag.

  • Don't swing your rifle towards your buddies.

  • nutnfancy i no you like tac training for like fire fight situations so i thought you would probly like air soft because its the cloest thing to a real fire fight you can get without actuly shooting at someone look into it

  • why's his comment bad? airsoft is a viable training excercise, even the Army, SWAT, and some law enforcement agencies use airsoft for training

  • I guess because nutnfancy already knows about airsoft.

  • Airsoft is cool since its cheap compared to other tactical like games. The guns CAN weigh realistic and you can get GBB rifles now yeah they are like 400.00 but they fuction like a REAL firearm Systema i think makes a M4 in GBB with recoil and you opt out for more stronger recoil springs Magazines run like 40 bucks but if you want ultimate realism. I would go electric and just practice guerilla warfare.

  • Actually most systema ptw's are aegs

  • yes, they are :0 systema doesnt have a GBBR

  • touche

  • what the heck?

  • like touche like when you correct somebody or something lol w/e

  • Oh, I thought it was a insult, if it was I wouldnt have cared anyway LOL.

  • haha it does sound like douche XD

  • airsoft isn't an unknown concept to nutnfancy.

  • "let it drop?" hope you recovered that live ammo.

  • If you watch you would see he is referring to the mag

  • Comment removed

  • not trying to be negitive but inpact Guns dosen't have alot of guns in stock

  • I remember I had some issues like that my SU-16C when I first took it out. Had FTE/FTFs. Found out that it was the factory extractor. Swapped it out with a DPMS extractor and problem solved.

  • not a AR. its a kel-tec su-16c

  • Anyone know where i can look for a Price friendly tactical vest in either XXL or XXXL size?

  • "BLACKHAWK!" cut-away vest/armor carrier.

I just bought one from their website a couple of weeks ago for under $200.

I am not sure if they have your size, but it is worth a look-see.

  • brigade quatermaster thats were i got mine

  • Great video. Love your reviews and other vids. I bought a ciener .22lr conversion kit for my Bushmaster Patrolmans carbine to save on ammo costs. I agree with the whole training aspect and not wasting ammo, but doing a mag dump with .22lr is just as fun than with .223

  • Looks like those two could do with a little more of that running around business

  • I already made one and know how. I am suggesting he do it for others.

  • Nutnfancy, you should make a video on how to make those target stands you have there.

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks for posting your videos. They are entertaining. As a soldier who handles an M4 every day, I would like to offer some words of advice about safety.

Your weapon should be on safe when moving.

You should clear weapons before joking around at the targets. (4:57)

    Always have muzzle awareness (3:10)(6:15)(7:50)

The 5.56 will shoot straight at 50m with no drop. Your difference in aiming point and point of impact will never be greater then the height of your front sight above the barrel.

  • I still enjoy the videos and figure we'll just have to agree to disagree on this topic. You guys stay safe in your "undisclosed location" and we'll stay safe here.

  • I trust your opinion as you do seem to be very well educated in these matters. I only speak from my position as a patrol rifle instructor for my department. We have banned Wolf ammo in city issued weapons after seeing extractors break and watching as a bad round blew out the bottom of a Rock River AR-15 through the magazine. It destroyed the guts of the weapon and injured the officer firing it. I'm happy to hear that you have had no such problems.

  • So sorry to hear about your training accident. I hope the officer is OK. Thanks for your service.

I've had much better luck with the brass cased Wolf ammo, by having no failure to extract problems associated with the steel cased Wolf. It's all dirty though. I am assuming it was a casing failure if it detonated the BCG. I personally don't trust RRA bolts or BCGs. I stick with Colt, LMT or Bravo Company BCGs.

  • lol tell me about it ive been hooked for four months

  • I was shocked to see that you guys were using Wolf ammo. I know that ammo prices these days are getting out of control, but Wolf is so bad for an AR. Steel case versus steel extractor is never good. Great Series Nutnfancy. I just found your program and I'm hooked.

  • Cliffcop.... don't believe everything you read on the errornet. Wolf is dirty and underpowered. However, I have personally fired THOUSANDS of rounds of this stuff through my colt with no discernable wear on the extractor. The early wolf with the laquer finish was horrible for ARs, but that stuff hasn't been around for years.

  • Not to argue but how many rounds were on the extractors? I replace the extractors in my AR15's every 2-3 thousand rounds anyway as a matter of course,no matter what kind of ammo I use.

I have had Wolf get stuck in my chamber during a carbine class, which sucked, but I don't normally run my guns at a 700-1000 round a day pace, so it works well for my bi weekly 200-300 round per day training. Anyway clifcop, keep training those cops well, and keep safe out there!!!

  • I'm insulted. Plinking is NOT a waste of ammo. It's a good stress reliever. Not sure how many THOUSANDS of rounds I've shot into bowling balls (before this whole, Iraq War, when 7.62 ammo was like, $80 a thousand).

  • it was the kel tec that jammed not the ar

  • An AR malfunction......get an AK!!! Lot's of excuses....AK's eat wolf!!!!!

  • yeah charlieusmc the Kel Tec jammed not the ar-15 ;)

  • Man, this would be a pretty cool get-together with friends.

  • i have also had problems with wolf. the shell would not extract from the chamber after it discharged...anybody else?

  • the shell expands...

  • that and i "think" there is a laquer on wolf. after i finally got the shell out i noticed a resin in the chamber and that sucker was spotless before went shooting that day. i think brass is the only way to go..low end for me - pmc

  • ever use a spikes .22lr conversion bolt check out my video responce

  • i was told in the army that the 5.56 round drops climbs then drops again till spent. effectively making it most accurate at 250 to 300 meters center mass.

  • Assuming that the sight line is perfectly horizontal the muzzle will be slightly higher than the chamber. This gives the bullet the beginnings of a arc. Thus the effect of hitting low at short range, higher slightly further out, & then low again further out. The military often simplifys things for the benefit of lower IQs. (Much like explaining things to politicians.)

  • Wouldn't hurt to work out a little....lol

  • Ready for the zombies now!

  • sighting your rifle in at 35yds, does 5.56 realy drop that much from 35 to 100yds?

  • It does a little. Bullets drop faster than alot of people think. If you fire a round horizontally and drop a bullet from the barrel hieght, both rounds will hit the ground at the same time. It is an accurate round but when you're shooting precisely, the drop is noticable.

  • In a vacuum, everything drops at the same rate. It depends on the difference in vertical air resistance between a fired bullet and a bullet (no casing).

  • If they are in the same environment then the resistance to drop will be the same, no matter the horizontal velocity. I guess you're refering to the experiment they did on the moon with a hammer and a feather :P That was pretty mind blowing stuff.

  • Physics is pretty cool in my book. If the environment is a vacuum, then the resistance will be the same. Otherwise, it depends on how the bullet is facing and its design - less surface resistance. Yet, bullets are so small the difference is negligible probably to the naked eye when it comes to hitting the ground.

  • the dude to the left would be dead

  • When he had that jam Why didn't he transition to the pistol he was wearing. Drills like this are used to work on real world skills. In a gunfight your not gun screw around with a jam. Your gonna got o your secondary and get back in the fight.

  • Nutnface said in the beginning of the video that these shooters are new to tactical Shooting and that would also be an option to transition to a secondary weapon depending on range.

Also take into consideration that given a tactical scenario like this he could have shouted out JAM and gone down in prove, cleared the jam and then the figured assault could continue.

His buddy (shooter nr2) could have provided cover fire in the mean time.

That wasn't the purpose of this shoot though, their new!

  • NO EXCUSE!! They should all be perfect like my self!!! Kidding. I missed the part where he said they were new shooters. Either way good drill.

  • Hehe no problem, everyone is new in the beginning. I lost count on how many times I got yelled at during basic training regardless of what it was etc.

Eventually we got our shit squared away ;)

    -Tobe

  • His vids are great but some of the gear he says is good In my opinion is garbage. For instance I would never buy another kel-tech or any ruger automatic (great revolvers) but nutn loves them and speaks very highly of them. I have seen nothing but problems with ruger autos. Kel-techs to me appear cheaply made and always feel stiff to me. I guess each to his own I'm a Sig sauer man myself thats just my preference...Happy shooting.

  • at 1:05 did u just say "word"?

  • May the Gods of Rock bless your shooting. Metallica4TW!

  • Heh, I'm a heckler and koch guy so :P

  • Wolf is only good in ak and sks in my own opinion.I would NEVER shoot metal case ammo in my ar... Bad for the chamber.

  • Brass is a metal.

  • Are you guys doing this video in Idaho?

    If you are small world!

  • Never mind what I just said I got to the end of the vid and...yeah.

  • Good friends. Good weather. Good guns.

  • could you really ask for more?

  • Yah as you get closer aim higher...and wolf is alright as long as you don't use the 62 grain stuff...shit is notoriously under powered

  • good shootin... bushmaster all day

  • Sniffle, wish I had access to places to shoot like this. Rarely I am lucky enough to find a good place to shoot some rifles, and I am stuck paying ridiculous prices for ammo at ranges just to keep up accuracy. Oh well as a 17 year old kid tht will soon either attend VMI or join the military and loves the 2nd amendment and constitution your vids are simply refreshing. Keep them coming!

  • kel tec jam hmmmmm nothing new for them.

  • naw man its the wolf ammo. wolf is terrible stuff, manufactured to the lowest possible standard. I put a few rounds thru my buddy's Kel Tech short barreled SU-16 and it was fine. They shoot okay. Not Armalite or Bushmater, but not bad.

  • haha yup typical of the kel tec

  • Damn that looked like alot of fun. I can't wait to put my new AR15 through it's paces.

  • the keltec is a sexy beast

  • Our sgt. wanted to purchase these kel-tecs to keep in the trunk of our units. We all questioned it.

  • my fav vid yet man looks like loads of fun, too bad in my sate we have no were to to that!

  • Awesome shooting, NnF! That Kel Tec is a nice unit. Decent prices I've seen on them too. I like the folding stock.

You should try lateral or slant movements in the future. Working out the safety issue can be a challenge when shooting in groups though. But you guys have plenty of space. Discipline helps too.

  • If it's WROL situaton all those will do ... if you are going for general ROL accuracy they suck
