If you look at it closely, its not a burout, its more of a wheel spin, he didnt even touch the breaks for it to be a burnout. this is one beautiful car, spcially the late model with amazing tail lights. just look at that take off, such power, those fat tires to spin with smoke? wow.

Yeah, it has 4wheel drive but it's a viscous traction system which puts most of the power to the rear wheels in a standing start.I guess this procedure requires some practice to do it safely and not burn the clutch.Lovely exhaust-note.The guy driving was probably on of their test-drivers,most owners wouldn't probably risk such a violent start.If you get it wrong it'll cost you dearly.

many things I like about this video..the smile on the faces of the driver in red and the camera man. But the best things are the sound coming from that V-12 and the BLOCK long strips..that car is worth every penny. Nothing better than a good old school burnout from a 200 thousand dollar car...I could watch that video 100 times in a row and love it from the beginning to the end.

They have, Porsche has a clutch made of siliconcarbide (carbon-ceramic) which is wear resistant.

Shame they only use it in motorsports and the Porsche Carrera GT.

It's also better for performance, the diameter is smaller so there is less inertia.
