I hear you on pharmacies... but I am yet to see conclusive evidence that "Mary Jane" in harmful to our bodies, also given the argument presented my sister who is recovering from cancer had chemotherapy, which is definately something that damages our bodies, I could name a huge number more treatments... your argument is flawed, but hey let's not promote drug use, but I feel we should be careful haw the scriptures are interpreted, and how we pass judgement on people. Weed is a plant which God created, it is not drunkeness and doesnt cause me to sin. Sin is the transgression of the law. There is no commandment that states thou shall not smoke weed. N then also if you call weed sorcery/ pharmekia or pharmacy then you all are doing wrong by using the commercial drugs sold over the counter ie advil, excedrine, sleeping pillls, etc. Smoking weed gets me calm and closer to my spiritual self and i stop worrying about the world and focus more on God.

My pastor is during a series on this very subject. I am glad you brought this to the table. We are taught as youth what it means to be Christian. AND what does it mean to be Saved. Being Saved means...You are set free from the penalties or consequence of sins that are PAST, PRESENT, & FUTURE. Many feel being a "Christian" depends on your work. It does not. The weed is now our master bcuz it controls are actions, but Jesus came to be our master to free our actions. We are not capable to serve to masters at the same time(Matthew 6:24). And well if we chose to allow the marijuana to be over us, it now becomes our God, and one of the ten commandments is "Thou shall not have another God before Him''

. We sometimes only relate the "Sober Mind" to alcohol but sober minded means to have self-control over your mind, being able to govern yourself, having your passions under control. When someone gets "High" then are they really sober minded, like the bible tells us to be? We are now not in control of our appetite for example, we have to eat uncontrollably. we are now in a state where we dont have a sound mind to operate in the things God has for us.

3) Now this last thing I want to bring out is the fact that marijuana is considered a drug for numerous reasons. But one I want to point out is its a mind altaring substances. It changes our thought pattern, it then brings illusions, hallucinations, memory loss, and disorientation. So now something is controlling our minds and thoughts other then the Holy Spirit which is suppose to be guided us. Several scriptures tells us to be sober minded, 2 Timothy 4:5, 1 peter 5:8, ad its even more.

Im pointing all this out to say it damages our body greater than a few peppers or Aloe Vera. So when using "Mary Jane" on the constant bases we are purposely damaging our bodies. And according to 1 Corinthians 3:16-17, our bodies are the temple of God, and if we purposely cause damage to our bodys to get personal pleasure God will destroy us. We are to take care of our bodys for it is not our owns, we were bought with a price.

We seem to compare it to other things to make it sound like itll cause less damage but the fact is it still does, it cause potentially fatal risk to lung cancer, emphysema, and increase of heart attack. Okay so lets say I dont smoke it, i insert it another way, well then in that cause youve now physiological and psychological consequences. Which included the reproductive system, the immune system, and the brain.

2) Okay so lets say we were in another country where it is legalized or even if it was legalized in the US, would it still be considered going against the will of God? Well, as you said man has classified marijuana as harsh as cocaine and LSD. Now although marijuana doesnt have the same effect or as strong of an effect on your body as they do, it has an effect.

1) As stated in the Video, marijuana use is against the law in the US(unless for medical reasons). So if we only look at that point, marijuana use for most Christ would be going against the commands of God. As followers of Christ are commanded to follow the laws that are set by the government.Romans 13:1-7, Titus 3:1, 1 Peter 2:13- 17. So according to those scriptures if we disobey laws that were set by the government, we are going against the will of God

4)I know im far from the role model Christian, but I think we forget about man's tampering with the way the way things are worded and their meanings. In my opinion the bible doesn't consider marijuana a drug, only man does, because it is naturally a plant.

3)Capsaicin helps relieve nerve pain and arthritis discomfort. I could go on forever. We all know that MAN has classified marijuana into the same category as harsh drugs like cocaine or LSD, etc. but to automatically assume Christ feels the same way isn't right. Theres no direct evidence that Christ specifically bans marijuana, because it isn't a drug, it's a plant by the Lord's definition.

2)Which again is a plant. My confusion lies with the fact that if it NATURALLY grows (under the right conditions) into the wonderful herb some of us enjoy today, how could it be against Christ's will for us to utilize it? It seems to me like that would automatically ban a lot of nutritious vegetables. Aloe Vera plants help eliminate air pollution and reverses common allergies people share. In chili peppers, theres a compound called Capsaicin that puts the heat in the peppers.

1) the video was dope bro. Of course I seemed to only have issue with the drug segment. I followed the correlation of Sorcery to Pharmakeia to Pharmacy to the administering of drugs.

1. I feel as though the most natural state of marijuana is just as much a drug as spinach or poison ivy is. Now I understand most of the marijuana teens and young adults are exposed to is tampered with in some way, shape or form, but, for the most part it is intended to be consumed in its natural leaf/bud state.

This is good! And about the church comment. Of course we need to go to church! As students, we don't just go home read the book and understand it then go take our final exam and 4.0 it! We go to class, we sit under teachers, we come together to form study groups and study so that we can pass our test! As Christians, our ultimate goal is to become like Christ! And in order to do this, we gotta go to class aka Bible study, Church...etc. Great job bro!!
