I really liked the voice. However, what tuning are you using? 'cause it doesn't sound like standard. Some guy down below(on the comments) me said he thought you weren't holding your notes long enough I agree kind of but not completly. I am pretty sure your is way more bluesie-er than edges. but, the tuning i think just sounds a little off from edges.

I don't know I have been known to bend strings with people about tunings on youtube and maybe i am way out of line for this. plase reply.

I was sung this song to sleep when I was really little by my dad way back in 1991. I have always had a love hate relationship with the song 'cause my parents divorced less than 3 years later.

Ok just a bit of constructive criticism, take this whatever way you want, but I think that you should actually fully say the words and not pull away. You know hold onto the notes for a while, it sounds like your hiding from the words.

I think you sound better when you sing it through and through, but it doesn't sound natural when you sing it like Enrique Iglesias (i.e. taking short pauses in between)

I like your natural voice better at 00:44 "for to face" when you drawl it out, beautiful.
