  • @jamie1051 because he would make a good dwarf.

  • If people didn't notice, this was made in April of LAST YEAR!!! Don't get mad that they "got it wrong" when, at the time, it was right! Calm down!

  • I get it now, you call yourself clevver movies thou you are retarded, hahaha, got it now ;)

  • she's pretty (:

  • @7Stringuzr she's orange.

  • Yes I know that Legolas is Thranduil son so as he doesnt have a speaking part in the book he should be seen and not heard like a good little wood elve. Have we got an official age on Gimli?

  • I bet she knows nothing of what she is talking about, Orlando Bloom plays Legolas, why would he play Kazinsky's character....who is Fili i think?

ps. I think I should replace Kazinsky, :)

  • Like she can even read.

  • @ArwenPendragon that's mean..why do you say that?

  • I like how in the description they spell the name "saoirse" ser-she. How many more names would you like to sound-out the spelling?

  • BUND PAR DU GA

  • Clever Movies. The irony here.

  • Thumbs up if you got lost in the reporters words.

  • I'm very excited that Hugo Weaving is coming back as Lord Elrond! :)

  • Well they clearly said he was ill. Aragorn would be 30. Legalos shouldnt have a speaking part(but will :() and if we have Legalos cant we have Gimli(perhaps during the battle of 5 armys) Elija Wood shouldnt be there either except he will be listening to Bilbo tell the story.

  • @zaprese they should include those characters, just so LOTR fans get what they want, would Gimli be in the battle of five armies? he would've been very young, and his dad, wouldn't want him being in the same army as him. Elijah can be there when future Bilbo scene occurs, but yes at the story he would not have been in there, we all need a bit of Legolas too, due to him being a wood elf and son of tharunduill, plus my favourite character of LOTR.

  • fuckin now, obviously he wont play in it coz it takes years back before lotr so he cant just go back 50yrs can he? stupid bitch

  • @patryk1734 quote gandalf in lord of the rings "Bilbo good to see you! One hundred and eleven years old — who would believe it? You haven't aged a day..."

  • what a chick i love her!!!

  • What a droning voice !

  • Are you kidding me how the HELL did shaun Slater from eastenders get on this?!!

  • @jamie1051 Have to admit, I was thinking the same thing. However, evidently, he isn't in :P

  • son of bitch, why would you leave such an awesome movie!?

  • Boa Hancock?

  • PLEASE DO NOT CAST ORLANDO BLOOM

  • @WASTELANDelf why not? he made a great legolas

  • she calls Ian Holm 'holmes'

  • @TheGamingEagle aragon would be a kid or not born yet ;)

  • @theillonez and what about legolas?he has like endless life?but still keeps himself as like 25+?

  • @DemonicLionXXX elvs live and age longer

  • @theillonez

Wasn't Aragorn in Elrond's foster care during The Hobbit? If he was meant to be in his late 80's in LotR, he'd be about ten or so in the Hobbit? But Jackson shortened the time between Gandalf leaving for Minas Tirith and coming back to the Shire by several years (not sure to be exact). It may be simpler to just allude to Aragorn's existence rather than have him on screen, just for continuity sake - people like us would pick up on it!

  • Orlandooo! ;3<3

  • Haha, cool comments :D Check out my speed painting of Thorin...

  • I would totally BONE her

  • Dont like the vid anymore! Keep it at 69!

  • @Toxic1nfection Oooooooops!

  • I can't wait! I did a report on the book and I've been antsy for the movie to come out ever since! Lord of the Rings rules!

  • I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE HOBBIT TO COME OUT!

  • im pretty confident that it'll be like one guy below me said at least 85% accurate to the book.its a long book afterall.if you havnt read it,i urge you to read it

  • @NavySealRay It's actually not that long...it's about on par with the individual parts of LOTR. It's also a very fast read as the story moves very quickly.

  • thumbs up if Jeremy Irons should voice act Smaug. I think he would do an excellent job. Just look at how he voiced Scar in Lion King.

  • I want all the actors that was in Lord of the rings to be in "The Hobbit"

    Billy Boyd! <3

  • @xOmgitzWill well i hope you know that in the book, Gandalf, Bilbo and Gollum are the only characters that should return and Gollums part is very minor.

  • @xOmgitzWill Pippin wasnt in the Hobbitt.the only characters from the LofR that were in the Hobbitt, was Gandalf,Bilbo, and Gollum.

  • @NavySealRay U Forgot Elrond

  • @NavySealRay Saruman toooooooo!

  • I wish I would play in the movie or at least be on the set are there any jobs available or any rolls

  • @WatchmenDrManhattan if you want rolls you can get em at denny's. or maybe mcdonalds.

    oohhhhhhh.... roles? Nope.

  • @MrSpencyr sorry for the typo ;)

  • @WatchmenDrManhattan all fun. :P

  • nooo, if they will only shoot many scenes will Bildo alone it will ruin alot

the 3 lotr extended edition movies already took away to much from the books and added things not even in the books

  • @akumie2 It's not suppose to be just like the book. It's based on it and it's a tribute to it but it's not a recreation.

  • @alicewasinwonderland I really hope its going to be a recreation, after all the lotr trilpgy was a recreation to atleast 85% of the books

  • @akumie2 Well it's more like a tribute. It's good to have it accurate at most points but if it was a complete recreation it wouldn't work. Novels work very differently from films.

  • Why do they change chicks every time on Clevver movies????

  • Only a few months left thank god I can't wait I'm dying

  • Theriot is right

  • i hope there is a frodo cameo

  • @GarrettHannen Frodo is in Lotr not The Hobbit...

  • @lordmattis94 Elijah wood is gonna be in the movie though

  • @sourcererbill I know but it is all wrong... Frodo is not yet born in The Hobbit.

  • @lordmattis94 Oh yer, i agree entirely but i think they probably want to do it with parts set around the same time as lotr to keep the public happy (by having actors such as elijah wood & ian holm)

  • @GarrettHannen frodo is making a cameo.so it might involve older bilbo telling frodo about his adventures with the dwarves :)

  • why do they make us wait years for the movies

  • @CodyForComedy Because it takes years to make them.

  • @MichaelHowrie i no this bro,,, it just should be so long after the production and film to get done and hav it shown in theaters 2years later.. i mean i dont like twilight but the 2nd part of breaking dawn is in theaters a year after the first part

  • @CodyForComedy

Yeah, but Breaking Dawn is a shit movie. Good movies take years to make

  • I want to know how they will do the scene with them in the trees with goblins and wolves on fire below them!

  • Holms? It's "Holm" O_O

  • I don't know why, but I'm awfully excited Sir Ian Mcelen will still be playing the role of Gandalf. As for Bloom and the others, there's no fucking need to be in the movie since they were NOT in the book. Most important roles will be that of Bilbo, Smigol and Gandalf. Read the fucking book, bitch!!!

  • aragorn nor legolas will be in the movie because they weren't in the FUCKING BOOK

    you dumbfucks!

  • @ElementGreen222 Actually, Legolas IS going to be in it, so you're the dumbfuck. They go through Mirkwood, he's the prince of Mirkwood, it's not a huge leap. And they could have put Aragorn in it easily enough. In the book, Gandalf disappears for long stretches of time and deals with the White Council and the Necromancer, and they plan to actually show all that behind the scenes stuff in the film

  • @Theriot6592 yeah but they never talk to him in the book or associate with hime either

  • @Theriot6592 your a fag. thats so

  • @ElementGreen222 legolas is in the movie, although its most likely a cameo since his dad catches the dwarves in the book, so he'll probably just be in the background

  • What an annoying whore.

  • Teleprompter!

  • The Lord of the rings were my favourite heart pounding movies of all time hope The Hobbit will live up to its expectations

  • i NEED to see this movie !

it's gonna be epic, thank you a lot for making it P.J

  • fuck orlando!

  • @Mountaind3ws

I really REALLY hope so! ♥

  • why do they get stupid girls to do all the video for this it makes it annoying it watch i dont care if she looks good she needs to learn to speak and change her voice every so often

  • @y05077 My missus and i where sitting here watching this and she agrees wholeheartedly!

She looks like her face is gonna scrunch up and she is gonna shit out a hobbit any minute!!! lol

  • @ozpreyarnold Its not so much her face that annoys me it the way she speaks makes me want to punch her shes a terrible host

  • shes hot

  • Filli isn't THAT important though.

  • What role did that katzinsky guy play?

  • @Matt139B EIther Killi or Filli

  • what about hugo weaving!?!? cmon this guy is like a necessity unlike bloom

  • thank you, hot girl, for caring about lord of the rings

  • Legolas was NOT in the Hobbit. No female roles either. Why cast these people just to sell tickets? oops..answered my own question

  • @bombshell42701

simple, of tol, kien had thought of legolas while writing the hobbit i'm sure he would have been in the halls of his father, or at the battle of the five armies and so on.

and the background story telling that involves frodo will also bring us back ian holm as old bilbo, thank god.

if it was only for the money why do they bring holm back?

  • It's a damn good thing there was a "skip this ad now" button for that 15 minute long ad seriously warning me about the end of the world

  • Can't wait to see what they make Erebor look like! Dwarves are awesome!

  • ORLENDO BETTER BE IN THAT MOVIE!

  • Leogolass was barely in the hobbit.

    fucking butt nugget.

  • as long as Ian McKellen is playing Gandalf I'll be happy!!!

  • is kazinsky gone, or is he just taking a reprieve? it sounds like he's coming back eventually, if they're shooting around him for now..

  • Want Orlandooooooo... Has had a crush on him since I first saw him as Legolas like 10 yrs ago... And I was like 5 then.

  • @Naaavii wow, why are you even on youtube??

  • how could someone NOT recognize martin freeman's edible - I mean, adorable - voice

  • sean frm easternders i miss him

  • SEAN SLATER!?

  • @KatrinaWhite2012 hes in brothers and sisters too.

  • Chelsea -3

  • Saoirse should definitely have a part in the film, as long as it doesn't clash with any meatier role she might have lined up.

  • where is trailer :D

  • @MrSniperOwnage1 there won,t be a tralier to until atleast next year cause they just started filming

  • gutted Rob kazinsky has left but ahh well :(

  • ian holm is an amazing actor

  • He used to be in Eastenders

  • @TheChrisDsBlog Yup thats Sean Slater, the brother of Stacey :)

  • OMG Ian Holm should play the younger Bilbo Baggins not just the older version of him because when he finds the ring he stops aging... and its 21 century so i'm sure they can make him look like he looked in the first LOTR

  • What I'm most looking forward to is: THE MUSIC! ♥

  • @MsBuchnerd Howard Shore will make the music, just like he did in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy so i have no doubt the music will amazing and neither should anyone else. What i am hoping is that the movie as a whole will be as good as the Lord of the Rings.

  • @MsBuchnerd

Is Howard Shore doing the soundtrack again? #hopingverymuchso

  • @Corfax Yes, he is! :)

  • @MsBuchnerd Hans Zimmer FTW!

  • New Line Cinema screwed Peter Jackson BIG TIME on LOTR!

...It took 3 years for 'The Hobbit' to even begin its concept stage of production. Once that finally did happen they began casting actors while cutting the script into 2-parts.

And director, Peter Jackson was unsure if he could make the prequel, so for those 3years he busted his ass to get this movie rolling and do it the way HE WANTS to be done. I heard him say once, if he had made this movie earlier, it would have been too soon..

  • @jayoung472 "I heard him say once"

You're not going to change my opinion on this buddy. Peter Jackson came onto the project later, and he wasn't the director, Guillermo del Toro was. I am pretty freaking sure Jackson said he didn't want to be a director again/of The Hobbit in an interview. After Guillermo left, Jackson picked up the job and what he said at the time made me think, if he didn't say it outright, that he did so because the project HINGED ON IT.

  • @jayoung472 "if he had made this movie earlier, it would have been too soon.."

What is he going to do or say really, at least anymore than I think he and the rest of the project crew already have? Do you think he is going to make a frank statement about the project being a disaster that may not ever reach theaters? I'll believe this film is going to come out when I am actually watching it on the silver screen, and not a minute before.

  • what happened to sylvester mccoy and david tennant???

  • @ROS3tYL3R Sylvester McCoy has been cast as Radagast the brown. But sadly David Tennant hasn't been cast as anything I thought he would of made a fantastic king Thranduil.

  • Just to highlight a problem with taking over ten years to do something like this, we have Ian Holmes cast as an older Bilbo Baggins. If they had actually been on the ball they would have completed this 6-7 years ago tops and he could have played as the younger Bilbo Baggins instead of the elder version only. I'm also worried that some of the other actors might actually pass away due to old age (Christopher Lee) BEFORE THEY FINISH THIS. That's insane!

  • First of all, the Hobbit should have been done years and years ago. Not worked on, not started - DONE. Instead it took them years just to finish a god damn SCRIPT and decide they would two movies instead of one. They started casting people like 2-3 years ago and evidently still haven't finished.

They've also gone through like 3 directors, producers, and etc until they got Peter Jackson on board in an attempt to save the project and P.R.

  • Won't waste my time....

  • yeahhhh!

  • I don't even know who Rob Kazinsky is, so he can have fun with his probable rehab

  • @Teshajiks haha

  • 4th =3 i can't wait for the Hobbit :D

  • @DarkReAper108 i cant wait ive read the book 3 times

  • GO MIDGETS

  • He will come crawling back to Eastenders now lolz

  • cant wait for the hobbit

  • 3rd, suck my cunt.

  • 1st
