  • dumbasses ya kno tha ford wud of maybe won if it wasent for tha stupid driver

  • Ha! and how much more does that Ford weigh? Being a Crew cab vs a Reg cab?

  • shit i got a 4.8 supercharged ive smoked lightnings ford aint got shit on a chevy

  • dont lie.

  • wow a frickin 4.8, what a piece of crap. everyone else knows that they r the sorryest trucks ever made......

  • my buddy's 04 silverado 4.8L isnt. reg cab shortbed, its quick fro a stock truck. no match for a lightning but he kept up with a supercharged V6 monte carlo(a newer one before they dropped the 5.3 in them)

  • lol i was just mocking him, he left a comment on one of my truck videos and it said, "wow a frickin 5.4, what a piece of crap. everyone else knows that they r the sorryest trucks ever made......"

  • oh ok lol, my dad's 00 sierra ext cab 4x4 with the 4.8 wont even spin tire. not even a squeek off the line. when i got in my buddy's truck for the first time i said "let me guess, wont peel out but takes off after about 2500." he just smiled and floored it. i got thrown back in my seat and the tires spun up to about 40mph. i said "ok, guess not." lol

  • i agree 4.8 aint the fastest but... the sheer mod selection for that engine...

  • @timmypstyle whats your dad have 3.20 gears my silverado with slightly bigger tires with lots of meat will spin them all day with 3.73 gears

  • @sayer308 no i think he has 3.73s. its got the towing package. dont know why but it wont break them loose. believe me, i tried. my buddy's 04 reg cab shortbed will spin them up to about 35mph and past 50 on wet roads. he has the tow package too. gotta look up his rear end. have to look for the code in the glove box. GMs are so hard to find out the rearend.

  • @sayer308 just looked at my buddy's truck. found the codes online and looked in his glovebox today. he has the GU6 aka 3.42 rearend with open diff

  • @timmypstyle well that explains it because my 4.8 with 3.73 gears with the G80 can spin my 32" tires damn good, i dont know why that tall of gears is even an option i guess you should get better mpg but thats about it

  • @sayer308 and 3.42 isnt even the lowest. his does fine but thats why my V6 can keep up. anyways they had 4.56, 4.10, 3.73, 3.42, 3.08, and i think there was a 3.21 or something like that. he has a 16ft boat, i know its not much but it pulls it just fine. only troube he has is getting traction while pulling it out of the water on the ramps. i am going to try to get him to go to the track with me on 6/2. we will see how it goes.

  • @timmypstyle sweet i guess some people just drive highway and not pull anything which is why they make that tall of gears

  • @sayer308 pretty much. i just drive a truck because they have a lot of room inside, especially the fords. i am 6'5" tall so my vehicle choices are a little limited. i know grand ams are not very easy to drive for me. my buddy that has the 04 silverado used to have a 03 grand am and a 93 grand am. i drove the 93 and rode in the 03 and it was kinda cramped for me.

  • @timmypstyle i'd hate to see you in the back seat of a crew cab dodge its terrible im 5'10 and its really cramped in thoes unless its a mega cab which looks really ugly, well at least you dont drive forign...

  • @sayer308 well my dad's 00 sierra is an extended cab and the front AND back are cramped. the front isnt bad tho. the back if i sit in it, i have to sit sidesaddle-like. have both my legs to one side. my buddy's 04 silverado is a little cramped, my friend's 00 ram is the same. my 04 f150 heritage(03style) was great and my 08 f150 is 1.5X better than the 04 was. and they were both reg cabs. also 82-02 firebirds.camaros are good.

  • @timmypstyle meant firebirds/camaros. i had an 89 firebird and a 96 trans am. both had plenty of legroom but i would not be able to use a clutch pedal in either. mustangs are also kinda bad. and my mom's 07 ford 500 is ok on the legs but my head touches the headliner, and thats a pretty tall car.

  • @timmypstyle well of course a extended cab is cramped thats more like for keeping stuff and small kids but the chevy crew cabs arent too bad but i guess they cant fit everyones needs... ya camaros are great but the back seat... but thats what its like in just about any sports car

  • @sayer308 yeah but camaros and firebirds have GREAT legroom compared to a lot fo sports cars. but yeah, my firebird i floded down the back seat and had a box for my two 8" subs sitting on it. my point with the sierra ext cab was that all 3 of my ford reg cabs that i had were better than the front seats in it. and it should go back a little more than a sierra reg cab. thats pretty much all i meant.

  • @timmypstyle have you ever rode in a 80's two door caprise classic theres so much room in thoes i can like swim in it, oh i thought you were saying the back seat of a extended cab chevy was worse than the front of a ford i got ya

  • @sayer308 not a 2 door. but my dad had an 84 impala which is the same. it had plenty of room but i was only like 10 years old when he sold it. my parents just got rid of their 94 crown victoria last year. even riding in the back of that wasnt so great. actually my 90 5th avenue had more leg room than the vic did. but vic was wider. yeah but never been inside a 2 door one.
