The police durning made me sad. Why did the retarded mom had to take her doughter there. What a stupid bitch. She did the research and seen everything bad about it and still forced her doughter there when she was clearly scared. This movie was awesome, get real ppl, for it to even start comparing to the games it would've had to be at least 3 hrs long. Of course they didn't keep the story exactly the same because we already knew it. They wanted to add something to the story not copy/paste which is good. The reason PH was in it is simple, they wanted to add the best elements from the games put them all together and make a kick ass movie, which they did. 2nd's on the way I can hardly wait!

I say that's bull shit, it respected the game perfectly. In a world where almost every movie made based on a video game is terrible, the Silent Hill movie was a work of art. It stuck very close to the story and the feeling of the games, and that little girl acted her ASS off as Alessa.

This was actually half decent. I'd have preferred the clips to be from SH 2 or 3, but I think the effect comes off better using the movie.

My only criticism (besides what I already stated) is the roughness of the transitions, probably due to using Windows Movie Maker? Not sure, but everything else is pretty good.

And actually, i made this with Adobe Premiere Pro and the transitions should NOT be as rough as they turned out to be. This was because I had to do a lot of rendering for Premiere to recognize the decrytped DVD file, which caused the video to render very oddly, it's a shame.

It's not so much a devil as it is a woman. Alessa is the one who turns the town into the dark place. Alessa was also the one who lured Sharon away. The only "devil" in the entire movie was Pyramid Head, that's it. And the church was actually the whole center of a cult that killed outsiders, and tried to kill Sharon. It's not a sad movie. It's a deliciously disturbing horror tale.
