i miss the first singer n the sound of the first 2 albums in general . the new guy is brutal n tuff n all that but gabe357 had unholy terror n dementia in his voice . i appreciate the new ion dissonance album but it dosn't rate beside their earlier work . bands like Orgone n Crowpath have a lot to offer those missing their ferocious spastic aneurysm inducing tech torture/release fix
the spasticness of the singer gab is nearly unmatched by any metal singer I've heard. Plus I LOVE his shrieks. I never hear/read anyone referring to shrieks style vocals in metal, because it's brutal as fuck I guess and gab did it often and I LOVE it.
New singer is mediocre, you can get singers like him a dime a dozen at any metal show.
Of course still <3 Ion Dissonance Death of One Man, changed me! haha
This the kind of band that you either totally love or totally hate. No in between. Personally I sway toward the insanely obsessed and fucking love them side.
I love their first 2 albums and the .357 EP, but the new album is mediocre... the aesthetic became centered on the vocals instead of the groove. Since you said 18 wheeler, I think I have to say The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza. Check out the song Go Greyhound.
and the reason you have to keep posting about the tech aspects is because most people don't even pay attention to that. they're just fixated on music that's either pretty or popular
Ok first off i must say that unless you have this album in your room,you don't know shit about ID!they are the smartest,most intelligent guys ever.I hate the lead singer now though cuz he left,WHY????!!!!it's so depressing when my boyfriend and i talk about him leaving, But they live on in their C.D's,and past shows.you guys will fucking own all metal bands forever:)love you guys-nina

true that! My band does the same thing though, i guess alot of bands do. riffs or ideas that dont make it into a song can still be used for other things as far as live shows are concerned.

i had the singer's shirt. for real he was their best one ever they really drifted away from the brilliant sound of breathing is irrelevant,
but what kinda singer wears his OWN band shirt !? damn it sounds so quiet in there after the song but yeh one of my favorite songs ever GREAT !!

And it's interesting that they use that intro riff for the song, which didn't make Breathing is Irrelevant, but ended up on Solace instead.
