Don't crack the nissans tranmission case! Thats the weak link in the Sentra SeR. Great motor though. All aluminum dohc that can handle boost. It is the only non Honda 4cyl that is any good. I used to love the old SeR's 10 years ago. Great seats in the SeR as well. And factory lsd!
There are other non-Honda I4's that are good. 4G63 from Mitsubishi is probably the best I4 made. KA24 from Nissan is second-best in speed. The fastest I4 is running a 4G63. The second-fastest I4's (non-4G63's) are using a KA24.
@PzownedProductions I guess I should mentioned that it is difficult for me to consider a motor with a cast iron block like the 4G63 to be a modern powerplant for a sport compact car. Sure they are strong motors, a old friend put a 18g in his TSi ten years ago and it ran strong. My little brother swaped a B16 into his Civic the same year('00) and its still running strong ten years later. I wonder what happened to that old 4G63? Its probally rebuilt in a newer DSM as the newer 4G63 is weak.
Me and my buddy were riding around i had a 02 civic si and he had a 96 hatch b18b1 and we ran up on a older sentra se-r and i tell ya what he ran me out and my buddy's hatch he hung for a little but it pulled him to. The sr-20 are strong motors.
honda doesnt have stock turbo cars but the accords take boost well fyi...Ls motors can take boost to im not sure how well but i see alot of stock boosted LS's. Every manufacture has its ups and downs so stfu people and lets talk shit on v8's and stangs. if your gonna list power atleast do it right the b18c5 has a 9200 rpm revlimit and makes about 200 to the crank and typicaly puts down about 180 of it to the wheels not to mention they come with lsd factory ported head 4-1 tubular exh mani and a pretty fuckin sweet 4.7 final drive with close gear tranny and a gsr 4 and 5 gear for better highway crusing so your not pushing 6000rpms and 60 and power to weight plays a big roll

there never was a twin turbo version of the rb30. the rb26 and 25 are the only ones that came twin turbo. and also theres like freakin 10 different f22's from honda so u gotta be more specific than that.

there is in fact a RB30. i don't think it was boosted though. what people forget is though the Skyline is cool, not all of them were Sport-Oriented. Some Skylines were turned into wagons actually. the ticket is the GT-R. That's the gold baby!

the honda monster is the k24/k20. its a k24 block from the TSX with a k20 head on it. so it rev just as high as a k20 but its a 2.4 so there is way more torque.

That k20 would make iN EXCESS of 60whp more than your SR20 at the same boost pressure with the same sized turbo and the reason for this is the k20's head flows MUCH better than the sr20 AND the k20 has a stock revlimit of over 8 grand, so not only are you making power through revs your making power through good flow. K20 is MUCH MUCH better than an SR20 any day anytime bro. Ive got a few honda boys that would tear your shit

I mean, I drive D15B VTEC EG Hatch that's zippy, but I don't go around telling people what I COULD be them with. haha! I've owned 3 SE-Rs and I miss them all. Especially the two Bluebirds. CRAP! If I were to choose between a Civic siR and a gtiR, I think I know what I'd choose :P gtiR's are named Mini Godzilla's and I think I know why haha.
