I still don't understand why Ford never made a car like this in the US. The svt contour and the svt focus are as close as they got. They make a turbo AWD sport compact in the early 90s and never bring it over here? Cars like this are exactly what we needed. Oh well.

I feel sorry for you guys! I've driven a 6.0, 400bhp LS2 pushrod V8, and I think american engines are ok, built to last, but not very thrilling. I've also had a go in 2 cossies, 1 saphire and one 3dr, 380bhp and 450ish respectivly. You guys are missing out, and I feel for you, nothing feels like a 2.0l YB with a T34 or T4 coming on to full boost and surging forward! The kick in the back is like nothing in this world! The Cossie will always be a legend, not many cars of this age can say that!
