  • SOMETHING INPORTANT hi 😃

  • someone really like foster the people :D

  • @neonflames1999 haha, i really did at the time

  • Can i take my resin, MIX it with glitter(martha stewart) and still, put a sticker insidee? Becuase i watched a video on youtube and they said something like not to, because then you wont be able to see the sticker clear? Is it true?

  • @THESh0rtEYZ thats is true. If you use stickers then you first need a clear layer of resin and then stick your sticker in. Wait a day, then do the second layer which can be the glitter + pigments you want. and then if you want wait another day and do a white background. that is how resin is done ~ take care

  • How long dose it take to make this

  • @lilmisscookie11 resin takes a long time if you want to make it look good. you have to wait 1 day if you do two layers and a sticker. but if you only do one color like this video then it takes 15 minutes or so. then you have to wait a day for it to dry.

  • instead of eye shadow can i add chalk pastels? and then glitter?

  • @neha3130 yes you can. just stir it all up good :)

  • je hoeft niet alles zoo irritant duidelijk te laten zien..;s

  • @grafkistmeisje bel je me irritant?

  • What do you use risin charms for?

  • @bieberfan6821 You make jewelry pieces out of them or keychains, whatever you decide.

  • :D I know this song OMG Helena beat?? Yeah I heard it a few days ago c:

  • i had a few questions i was wandering if you had a video on how to do the candy sprinkle ones and i was also wandering if you new how to get the flat non gloss colors thank you i love your charms

  • You have to buy the hardener separately right? What kind should I get?

  • @tishtita Mine came together. if you buy resin in the box kits then they come with one bottle of each. If you buy it seperate then you have to use different measurements, like fractions to mix it correctly. If its seperate then you get a giant bottle of resin and a tiny tiny bottle of hardner. I've never used that way before so i cant be of much help :/ sorry, i just suggest to buy them in kits like EasyCast or Envirotech

  • I'm sorry to bug ya...what do you mean by stay away from acrylic paint unless you can make them dry? I thought you used some? no? And also, can you paint a resin cabochon with acrylic paint once its cured? Say...to add designs or stuff like that? If so, how does the paint not chip away? Sorry for my many questions. Thanks a bunch if you know the answers!!

  • @danzr31585 no problem at all. sorry i was confusing to you. I meant that if you use acyrlic paint in the resin it takes way longer to cure. I made a heart and it took 3 months to dry and finally when i was checking to bend it, it shattered. However people use paint to color it (like sassyclaymom) just becareful and dont use too much :) But i dont use paint anymore. You paint the resin after its dried. You might have to do lots of layers so its not streaky. THEN you glaze it to help the paint

  • @danzr31585 You can glaze with resin itself or you can use triple thick, thats what i use. :) Just let me know if you have any more questions.

  • @ivanaokay thank you soooo much for being so helpful !!

  • Where did you get the glitter caddy?

  • @CaelanCatx WalMart

  • @ivanaokay Oh wow! that's great :D and how much are they.. Sorry if I'm annoying you..

  • @CaelanCatx oh no your not bothering me. im just helping ●‿● they're $5.

  • @ivanaokay their in the craft section.. right? with all puffy paints, paint pots, etc

  • @CaelanCatx Yes, where the beads, strings, pompoms, and furry pipe cleaners are.

  • DO YOU KNOW HOW TO SEPARATE SOLID COLORS

  • @love69 usually people use glitter on the back to seperate colorsl like in popsicle or icecrea molds. you pour clear resin and then sprinkle on the colors in the certain areas. or paint on behind the resin. other than that i dont know how to physically seperate resin

  • wow love it!!!!!

  • @TheLaDyNaiLZ aww thank you :)

  • can i use sculpey mold maker for resin molds.? please reply :)

  • @destinymonyaeflower I've never used sculpey mold maker in my life but i heard its really hard. if its not flexible then it would be hard to get the resin out. but i know for sure not to use polymer clay molds... sorry thats all i know :D

  • @ivanaokay Thanks and the sculpey mold is really flexible :) i'll test it out

  • BEST SONG EVA!!!!!!

  • @manishaatulgupta thanks and goodluck. Sometimes they sell Epoxy resin in hardware stores where they sell wood

  • When you did it, How much did all the supplies you buyed or your parents buyed costed.... PLZ REPLY I need to know cause I might make it!

  • @dachshandlover Well it all depends on what you choose. Resin costs $20, martha stewart glitter costs $15, walmart glitter costs $5, mold maker costs anywhere from $10- $20, mixing sticks cost $3, cups cost $2,

  • I love foster the people!!! You chose a good song to use!! (Helena Beat) ahhhhh!!!!

  • what music is played in your video?

  • @fireworksKP its in the Youtube tag right under the views on my video, the band is Foster the People and the song is Helena Beat

  • @ivanaokay Isnt it Foster the People? and the song is helena beat?

  • @KDTWallets yup, just how Youtube tagged it above ^

  • This song is fantastic

  • @xgreenymeex (°∀°) i love this album :P

  • I am determined to win ur contest

  • @mycupcakex gooduck :P

  • Who sings the music in your video?

  • Hehe I did not sure if I subed yet hard to check on a iPod I'm trying to comment as much as I can

  • Oh yes that's what i meant, in my comment to you before i just used the word "top" instead of cap. Wipe out your cap after every pour. :)

  • K thx I think I figured it out do u think it could leak because I use the cap to measure the resin and when I pour it some of it is left in the cap so when I close it , it leaks down

  • @mycupcakex If its not spilling from the top then there must be a hole. if not, then i can;t solve your problem without seeing it. :/

  • What kind of mold is best to use? I only have silicone molds! Will these still work with the resin? Thanks :)

  • @teruchuu Silicone is the easiest to use with resin :) the only thing is your resin will come out cloudy and foggy. all you need to do is glaze it and your good to go. Silicone and resin molds are the only good ones. Candy molds and soap molds are not good to use.

  • @ivanaokay Awesome, thanks so much! :) For the glaze, will Sculpey clay glaze work? Or should I just use clear nail polish? Thanks again ^_^

  • @teruchuu Clear nail polish is very cheap and i've heard it worked but not very good. I'd recommend to stay with actual glazes like Sculpey and Triple Thick.

  • @teruchuu p.s. enter my contest for a free squishy :)

  • So the glitter candy is candy and where can I buy it also my resin has been like leaking out of the bottle when I close it after like an hour I would see the resin spilling down the sides of the bottle can u help

  • @mycupcakex Oh i think you mean Glitter Cady... its a glitter shaker with 6colors and you can buy it at WalMart in the craft section. Make sure to wipe the mouth of the bottle with a paper towel and also clean the top. if there is some in the top, it will drip down the sides and be sticky.

  • where can i find the oyumaru japanese mold?

  • @chibikat940 You buy some at eBay which is where i got mine. Ebay or etsy sells Oyumaru.

  • can you use pastels as a substitute for eyeshadow?

  • @MyNumas Havent tested that idea out yet. But i dont see why it wouldn't work since its the same thing as eyeshadow! great thinking :)

  • @ivanaokay no, doesn't get hard at all...even when i remove it from the mold 24hours later it's sticky at not hard

  • @JennaInABottle Well okay, that means you didn't stir it long enough OR/AND you didnt mix exact measurements or each. My first batch of charms never dried because i didnt mix it long and i was trying to eyeball it.

  • @ivanaokay Well, i didn't use the same resin kit that you use in this video...i used a different kit "epoxy resin & hardner"...and it was thick like honey!

  • @JennaInABottle so like immediately after pouring them together it gets hard? or like 10 minutes after?

  • when i mix the resin and hardner together it becomes very sticky and hard to add to the mold...can u help me? is it suppose to be that sticky?

  • @JennaInABottle your resin shouldn't become TOO sticky soon, it should be easy to mix like clear handsoap(not thin like water but not thick like honey). im not sure what's wrong. how long did you wait or how long did you mix? its best to add resin and then add glitter or color. when you are done mixing the essentials THEN you add the hardner because it begins to cure as soon as they mix. please let me know your process :)

  • i haven't tried the eyeshadow thing yet...need to get some more resin!

  • @MiZzRiVeRa86 I really like the effect of it , helps me make pink things without buying colorant :)

  • AWESUM thx! But I'm new at this resin and if I want to make them jewelry do I make a spot for the eyepin in the mold?

  • @BeccaAndKat8 no, that is not possible. you have to fill up the mold. and then either drill a hole or glue on a bail to make the charm into jewelry

  • @BeccaAndKat8 or while your resin is still a little soft, you just stick in your eye pin. i can link you to a tutorial by SassyClayMom....well you can go to her channel, she just made a video about this, sorry but youtube wont let me link :)

  • Really cool tutorial. I learn a couple of tips here :D

  • @KeiChaosDakota yay ^^

  • WOW DIS IS SO HELPFUL. THANXS ALOT

  • @PINK0510 your welcome :)

  • @TheRacheljoi (^-^*)
