With the Wall Street bailout in full force and all the media outlets nitpicking the fine, insignificant details about why it's a good or bad idea, we've lost sight of the big picture. But that quote up there sums it up pretty well.
That movie was financed by some very powerful people. The fact is the debt isn't caused by the average american, it's caused by politicians and too much subsidies and defense spendings, or too many bailouts. The movie, while right that the debt is a serious problem, says the solution is to hurt the people who were innocent of the crime in the first place! The debt isn't the problem, it's the system.
Debt is created as soon as the bank creates the dollar out of "thin air" and exchanges it for bonds that the government provides to it instead. As long as you have a single dollar created then an amount of debt is created as well. And how do you pay for this debt? You ask for a loan as a govenment/state from the same national banking insitution and so money is being created together with debt in a never ending growing curve. So do you realize how the system feeds itself?
I think I do, I don't know why you mentioned this. If anything my strength is finance. While the system feeds on itself, it can only work if there is economic growth. But the debt is increasing far faster than GDP, and it's also very very big. But like I said, debt in itself isn't the final problem and solution.

I think he was over-rated because the liberals in the media, who get to decide minor things, like which celebrities to venerate (while the corporate owners dictate the editorial policies on things which actually matter), thought he was one of them. I believe a revolution needs to occur or else we are all going to head into a form of government where people have no say in it whatsoever where schools come down and bars go up, drunks wander the street aimlessly and drive their cars into orphanages, animal shelters, residencies, churches.
