  • Походу все не любят америкосов и боятся атак с моря :)

  • :closeenough:

  • At least 20 pairs of rubber slippers were reportedly killed in the incident.

  • どんなに遅い飛行機で飛んだとしても、時速110キロ程度のスピードじゃミサイルを置き去りにしてしまうよw

  • 火薬なしか?

  • Yahoo!

  • Did they intend to just hit the container instead of the ship?

  • @madashell1200 Yes; its pretty normal for tests because it saves having to build an expensive new ship for each test. It also allows the container to be taken away afterwards for analysis.

  • @JSFofWT Then that is some good shooting. If the missile had its entire payload, about how much destruction would it cause?

  • @madashell1200 NSM has (iirc) a 125kg warhead. Look up a small diameter bomb test to see a comparable blast

  • SO AWESOME! Still I hate my country for beeing one of the biggest ammunition exporters in the world, yet we say Peace, no war. .. :/

  • Fuck that thing is fast!!!!

  • Poland thx for NSM.

  • Kinda cool I guess...

  • Of course it's fake like balding female HR directors ,finance guys with basket balls on the sides of their nose and brown teeth corporate executives.

A sling shot would do better.

  • @luatfingerstyle obviously your just some idiot who sits at a computer all day comparing videos to video games, unfortunately for you, i have military experience, my whole family is military back grounded, and it is in fact real, current technology that i have seen personally is far more intriguing when you don't know how it works, so a bit of advise: When you have no idea what you're commenting on, SHUT THE FUCK UP! BITCH!

  • @sarinarailways I'm at the last year of aeronautical engieneer careeer (specialized in materials and air weaponry like missiles and bombs), and I agree with you. The whole video seems to be real. That kid it's an idiot and think that this Modern Warfare 3 it's real life or something like that lol.

  • thats how i delivered my girlfriend's dildo. XD

  • @luatfingerstyle wtf? Fake? hahahaha, hehehehehe, what's your IQ? 5?

  • This is cool because it is designed to kill people.

  • press 6

  • GREECE

  • This is some good BF3 gameplay

  • POW ha ha

  • miss.

  • You sunk my battleship

  • more details: /watch?v=BsGEvAHWagU

  • fake.

  • iran in that technology is best country in the world

  • It only hit that Cargo container... Wtf, that was so gay.

  • Oh and last thing, if you had been growing up in a warzone I am sure you would have loved this video since it might have been a rocket protecting your family. Just because its not relevant to you doesn't mean it is 100% evil or pointless. Live is grey, never white or black.

  • Now that is some serious sea skimming!

  • Hit a bit high didn't it? I thought the idea of this missile was to impact at water level, not to just bonk of some stuff on top of a ship.

  • @MPETE1976, looks like they want to keep re using the ship, so they have stacked some shipping containers on the deck to use as the target, pretty clever really

  • It's been proven that people that film while flying fly just as bad as people that are legally drunk! Hang up the cel-cam and fly dude! :)

  • Chuck Norris strikes the ship again, he refuse to lay off the ships.

  • This video is way old, why it got viral all of the sudden IDK.

Here's a vid from 2008, with the same pictures as this one and more.

    watch?v=K9gSMiKMsj8

  • I wonder how many people it can kill in one hit.

  • incase there is another missile crisis in Cuba, they will be like, who blew up the ship? oh, it was America, we saw that on your YouTube. Fire the nukes!

    ......

    .....

    skynet...... online

  • Now put in all the necessary war head primer and all the explosive and do that again :)

  • This makes me proud to be Norwegian.

  • fail

  • Theoretically speaking, since this is a test, structural damage is less than 10%, loss of life less than 3%, yet soiled pants from the would be crew would rate over 65%

  • @ElleLowel it doesn't have a warhead though

  • Kongsberg is my favorite European Beer! (Just kidding. It's my third favorite.)

  • Was awesome until the impact!!

  • Someone please explain this to me: did it miss the target? Or was it supposed NOT to hit the boat?

  • @JMartinsATV x2

  • @DruGz3uNnY I got an answer, makes sense

  • @JMartinsATV it hit the boat but it doesn't have explosives in it, it's an accuricy test

  • @Retroken3 cheers

  • @JMartinsATV it did hit, but the test missle did not have any explosives or the like in it. since it was a fire and forget missile test.

  • that is one rickety jet

  • wtf guys, I saw people posting videos on YouTube with better high speed cameras than this piece of crap

  • Technology is fucking nuts.

  • Honestly, i can´t understand the "awesomeness" of something that is made to kill human beings. Whats the accomplishment here? Better ways for destruction? Pretty "awesome" way to spent resources.

  • @Dikamatrive It's not built to kill people, it's built to counter armored ships. As long as there are armored ships, missiles like this one, RBS15, Klub etc are going to be awesome. Nobody would use it against civilians because its to expensive. It doesn't matter if you're a pacifist or not, but every country has an army. It's own or someone elses.

This missile is great but it lacks the power to stop fregattes due to the 125kg warhead, for anything else its great.

  • Just fabulous

  • 0:30 made me jump

  • Incredible distance, ridiculously low angle of attack, pinpoint accuracy. Damn, better get out of the water asap

  • How many people could have eaten with all that money spent on weapons?

  • Have anyone notice that this thing is going slow for a missile ?... the fact the the plane can go side by side... this plane is going at Mach 1.5 max ? i dont know any expert would like to tell me more thanks

  • @zero00tolerance I'm not an expert, but the missile flies much like the jet does. It is initially launched using solid rocket fuel, after that a mini jet turbine takes over. In essence, it's a jet-powered missile. As such, the aircraft is able to keep up and the missile can hit targets over 100 miles away.

  • @zero00tolerance its a missile, not a bullet.

  • @conbatengineer understand but from what i know those air defense missile needs speed to catch up to jet fighter they can go up to 3 - 4 times the speed of sound.

  • Didn't miss - it clearly wasn't armed and didn't explode on impact. Direct hit on the container, went right through it.

  • Didn't miss - it clearly wasn't armed and didn't explode on impact. Direct hit on the container, went right through it.

  • it missed....

  • The music at the end is epic.

  • Damn ...look at the distance that thing covers.

  • didn't youtube has a video stabilizer?

  • "and....shit, we missed"

  • and that... is how to play BATTLESHIP.

  • @Migzter05 Do you know that there'll be a Battleship movie that based on the board game?

  • @Migzter05 B7.....HIT!

  • Oh cool. Gameplay of Battlefield 3. :P

  • "Garuda 1, intersect those cruise missles!"

  • That's not that good, Weegies should stay out of war, leave these things to countries that fight wars

  • @feryerhalth yes because the ship is still there it missed the ship it hit the conex box on top ship is undamaged

  • Didn't actualy blow the ship up though did it?

  • @KindofWizard This missile test did not include the explosive charge and only served as a measure of accuracy.

  • to camera stabilizerr

  • Groovy

  • Lesson: don't fuck with Norway.

  • impressive.

  • 0:38 sorry

  • who shit themselves at 0:40

  • Really cool

  • I think all reasonable scientists should refuse to work on military equipment...

  • @TheOkthxbye So naive...

  • @YoonaNeomuYeppeoSeo explain.

  • @TheOkthxbye I'm sure that will work out, because it'll happen everywhere at the same time and no country will have scientists with other views, or force their scientists to work on equipment and gain an advantage. Yes, that will work just fine.

Even if it did, it would just mean that war continued to be fought the good old dirty way, carpet bombing instead of laser guided warheads, leveling a square mile to be sure to get that one guy in that building.

  • @demjp8RqDA I'm sorry, but that's just stupid. You are actually telling me improving and inventing new war equipment does NOT increase the destruction it causes on the environment? Plain wrong. Learn some history. You also demonstrate close mindedness thinking that all the stuff scientists invent for warfare are like this warhead. And who the fuck told you everyone should stop working on the at the same time? The slow process is actually the more effective. Again, just stupid.

  • @TheOkthxbye As for better equipment causing less damage, that's incontrovertible. Look at the vast devastation caused by bombing in WWII, and compare it to the bombing done in the last 10 years. Back then, we dropped hundreds of tons of bombs and leveled square miles because we didn't have the ability to pinpoint targets. Now if we want to take out a plant we can drop a single GPS bomb on the power station feeding it, or blow the bridge leading to it with one bomb.

  • @demjp8RqDA I see little point comparing a world war and today's smaller wars. I am convinced that precise bombing is a "healthier" choice, but it doesn't explain your statement earlier. It's not only warheads they are thinking up out there. There's a development of biological, chemical and nuclear bombs going on as we speak. The sole purpose of these bombs is to kill and destroy as much as possible. And they are trying to make them better still.

  • Our best and brightest working on ways to better kill each other.

  • total fail test.

  • I agree with the people here talking about how we should use this technology for good. I can't wait for the video where we shoot a can of Heinz beans 10 miles away into a hungry somebodies face.

  • @Demies amazing comment

  • @Demies, I love tech and especially flight, but I'm getting pretty tired of all the deth technology spending. if we spent more time looking into basic human needs rather then just blowing people up we would all be safer. Misery and colateral damage is the breeding ground of terrorists.

  • @1BustedMyth Ehm.. Lack of education, abusive politics, old powers that cling on past grandeur by means of force, misuse of religions create misery and collateral damage yes. Of course I agree with you, but my point is that making a statement for peace use of money for basic human rights on this video is like making a statement for real physics in cartoons. They are two different things. I don't think nobody here doesn't want peace, or food for all. But these people are engineers not politicians

  • @Demies, I am an Engineer, my friends are Engineers, I and them may be similar to those doing this work!

You think Engineers don't have families, children they want to see grow up? My circle do not agree with you, they feel its past time we recheck our bearings.

Soooo your saying that we should leave the most critical issues on this Planet to the least qualified, least inteligent and most dishonest single group here?

Yup, that would be why I do politics now.

    Ehm....

  • @1BustedMyth I am not blaming anyone, nor palming it off. But as you said, some people engineer water pumps and some atomic bombs. I take my responsibilities in my circle and do my bit. I am just more of a realist and I know which battles I can win and which ones are equal to fighting windmills.

Talking about this stuff because of a missile video still seems a bit out of place in my opinion. Maybe we meet another day on something more interesting.

  • @Demies, I did not say that. Itneresting how some people just palm it off: Water pump-Atomic bomb no biggy.

I guess you have never seen an innocent deformed child with no palet for your Heinz all courtesy the radio active weapons used on a civilian population in Iraq?

Those that make cheap jokes about hungry people have generaly never had to eat out of a bin.

Realist is a word for cowards, realists didn't put a person on the Moon, they were the ones saying it couldn't be done

  • @Demies

I am become death, the destroyer of worlds.

    J. Robert Oppenheimer

Do you know who that is? are you aware of how he was treated by the very people he worked for?

“Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it” Sorry! I'm not a realist, I'm a practical, capable dreamer

  • @1BustedMyth

Yeah like the guy that blew himself up inventing dynamite or the women who got so sick of radiation researching it all her life.

I thank this destroyer of worlds of yours because its energy shot a certain satellte out of our solar system and it's still going.

You are focusing your energy wrong buddy. How about writing this company instead of going in discussion with me. For an realistic engineer you sure know how to be efficient. You also lack a sense of humour.

  • @Demies, Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that warfare, famine, collateral damage were funny.

It saddens me deeply that its 2011 and you are what Human evolution has to offer!.

Yes and if were are not carefull "that satelite" will be the only thing left to remember our species by.

By the way before you start giving me advice, learn some science history, get your facts straight!

Oh and "That Satelite" is not!, but in fact a Space probe! and Oppenheimer did not work on it! nor does it have a warhead.

  • @Demies Ehm.. and by the way do you know what Engineers do? They solve problems! I guess to you a thirsty, hungry kid is just not as sexy as a missile test hay! Now why is that?

Sorry I'm not one to cover my eyes, turn walk away, but you go right ahead and act smug.

Me personly, I would like to actually make things better, rather then palm it off and blame someone.

I feel more uneasy on a commercial flight now then I did 10 years ago... why is that.

Your not a politician by chance are you?

  • @Demies Ehm.. and by the way do you know what Engineers do? They solve problems! I guess to you a thirsty, hungry kid is just not as sexy as a missile test hay! Now why is that?

Your not a politician by chance are you?

  • @Demies Hey, that's actually what this kind of thing winds up doing. Half a million people starved to death in Iraq between 1991 and 2003. Millions of German prisoners starved to death in WWII. War can and very often does save far more life than it costs.

  • my rocket makes you look like a BITCH!!!!

  • @captainamer71 are you serious

  • holy tit balls, batman

  • isnt there a better use for technology like that ?

  • @seba1337 nope.

  • @mathmatucla arrr =/

  • Idk, still disappointed that we use technology to destroy each other rather than help one another.

  • @GeorgeTVP We use it to help destroy each other :)

  • HOW BIG DO YOUR BALLS HAVE OT BE TO FLY A JET AND FLIM A MISSILE AT THE SAME TIME?!

  • @PotentialRoadkil Back seat's a navigator and weapons/radar operator. Front seat flies the plane.

  • @PotentialRoadkil Colossal

  • Comment removed

  • @PotentialRoadkil not big since there is a co-pilot? co- pilot is the one whos filming?... :)

  • @PotentialRoadkil not big, I do it all the time

  • @PotentialRoadkil i am guessin u dont know that two people sit in a jet not one....

  • @PotentialRoadkil Oh I would totally fly that jet and film the missile every time they do a test! Seriously how many people get that privilege of flying side by side with a missile?

  • You sunk my battleship.

  • SWEET MAN!!!

  • 11 ships were sunk

  • fuckin crazy

  • It's cool because it's designed to kill people.

  • @jazztickets Exactly! People suck.

  • Comment removed

  • @Robster471 you said "Those missiles go mach 3, and a normal fighter jet wouldn't reach that." but only ICBM's can reach that speed.

Consider this: the missile reaches supersonic speeds (mach 1) at around 0:15 when you see the white halo around it, and at that point you couldn't even see the thrusters working as hard as it was immediately after it was launched. Kinda hard to believe that it could have accelerated another 2000 km/hr considering it was going the same speed as the plane.

  • Now arm it and do it again.

  • thats not a missle.. thats a 747,, just like the one that hit the pentagon

  • @pillazilla never forget 9/11

  • Think if a dolphin or whale came out of the water and got hit by that thing.

  • @Kroopah lol

  • Now fundamentalist Israel has all that war power and the Palestinians have nothing. As a white American gnostic, I actually feel bad for those people. We shouldn't be killing innocent people.

  • how far was that shot?

  • That part where it's just flying feet from the ocean surface...man, war is scary.

  • I flinched so hard

  • fuck that shit!

  • looks like the thing that hit the pentagon

  • @sonicoliver

    looks like my dick

  • neat.

  • @jetmanjetteam My thoughts exactly.

  • @adickel Rockets as in the engine keeping in flight...of course.

  • terran is so op

  • @moblin123 | terrran is so op) --- you deserve recognition for this <3

  • @moblin123 ahahahahha so true!!!!!

  • Imagine if humans pursued this type of technology for exploration and not weapons of terrorism. Space ftw

  • @a10dollarhooker It's called the Titan exploration missile. We started using them in 1959. learn2history

  • @LeviJones9000 Ok, and how is that relevant to what I said?

  • try learning about the space race before saying we don't use rockets for exploration, or that rockets are primarily used for war.

  • @LeviJones9000 I'm saying all the time/effort/money we humans put into advancing military power, was rather put into space exploration.

  • @a10dollarhooker As people have pointed out, rocket/missile technology is used for space exploration. In fact, that's what gave the Russians an early lead in the space race; the Russian missiles were technologically 'inferior' (as weapons) so they had to be bigger and stronger, but that made it easier for them to be used to get to space.

  • @a10dollarhooker we might even get to the moon....ohh we did

  • ok, thankyou top comment : p

  • pretty fucking wimpy.

  • LOOK HOW LOW THAT LITTLE SHIT FLYS!!! D:

Knock the head off of a kid who might happen to be standing in the way... That was AWESOME :D
