Free energy has been here for a while ,But Millions are spend in supressing that information,Check this free energy magnet motor at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,take part in the revolution!
It can´t be very efficient, cause the material has to stop and move to the other side during the whole process. Also the "swept surface" is very low, so there can´t be very much energy in the wind.
But its a very interesting idea, im shure ill find it integrated into something in a few years. Hope you patented it?
It looks discouraging to find out Shawn's prototype windbelt's output is just 40mW. What could that do, it would just reduce the people in the third world to just LEDs and radios! I BELIEVE though, that is not the end of the story. Scaling up the windbelt's dimensions say, 3 meters by 10cm could solve the problem. How about using a larger size AWG, say size 16 for the coils, and bigger and stronger magnets for the magnetic flux. Those could increase the output to 3-5 watts or more per windbelt.
fascinating,if this breaksthrough, this man will be a multibillionaire and actually create something of use to many diffrent ppl. How would this look on a large scale?
But if the magnet is in the middle the physical resistance to the motion of the belt could be too great, interrupting the vibration and possibly reducing power output.

What Energy output has it?

10 times the efficiency? Really?!

Look on youtube for the Tacoma Narrows Bridge collapse. Evidence that the windbelt could be scaled up a great deal?

Try searching on 'diy windbelt' on youtube and you can see a very entertaining and instructable video on how to construct the windbelt yourself

As a guitarist, I can see you need to move the coil and magnet closer to the middle, where you get more travel, more power.
