@MosleyFML is it true you can have guns but they have to be locked up at a secured range and you can never take it home. and sad thing about america is they are taking our rights away all the time. i dont think the 2nd amendment will be here by the time i am old and grey.
@fuyingbro Shooting ranges over here are few and far between but thankfully i have one nearby, My ex girlfriends dad used to be a hunter and I saw his guns a few times so we are allowed them in the home... i think anyway haha, but for use of home defense is completely out of the question here and i'm sure you have to disassemble it when transporting it.

@redmule02 i have not used wax slugs but have seen how easy they can be made. so i may try that. i will have to remove the choke out of my barrel. thanks for the idea.
@redmule02 awesome choice. and not much scarier than a 12 gauge pointed at you. next time i go out i would like to get a couple pork butts to show damage and what would be expected for pass through. and maybe some ballistic wax or gel. but nothing like a pork leg to show what would happen to a person. and i can cook it up after words lol.

I'm leery of the Glasers because from what I've read their terminal ballistics trend towards unpredictable at best. I'll have to look at those SWAT loads.
When Northern Ireland heated up in the seventies the Royal Ulster Constabulary were armed with M1 Carbines for the simple fact that the .30 carbine bullet would have much less chance of penetrating walls and the obvious political fallout that would ensure in an unlawful death. Around this time the British Army were using the 7.62 NATO FN FAL or SLR as we call it (Self Loading Rifle) while the Provos were using 5.56mm armalites. I 'd love to see a test with the carbine sometime, maybe ask TN9....
You wouldn't expect the Glaser to be good over distance its not designed for that. It was originally designed for use by sky marshals from what I've read and so was made specifically to NOT over-penetrate. Great video, thanks

@bisquik3006 thanks for the comments. there is a reviewer that that does a pretty good job at this stuff too. but i have not seen him do it like me where i use two exterior walls. but he uses ballistic gel and denim and wall some of the time. his sn is tnoutdoors9

thats why i stick to a 5 or 6 shot 2 3/4 or specific home defense loads with low penetration and low recoil
