  • all you need is quality, not 240p

    =(

  • i can see that more ppl are geting into Dmz stuff and generally "old" and real stuff.I'm verry glad to see this

  • Everyone needs to stop overanalysing music and listen to what you enjoy. Don't listen to music you don't get along with to be "different"

  • why do I find skrillex on the right?? Oh yeah, does anyone know any good headphones??

  • @MrAnt71295

Okay, i listend to it with headphones, and yeah, it's a lot better than with the shitty mac speakers. I suppose I can no longer say I don't like. Headohones make this good.

  • @MrAnt71295 Good 'entry level' headphones are Sennheiser HD515. They're what I use at the moment, not horribly expensive but they're a damn sight above the overpriced Skullcandy / Monster Beats shite that sounds horrible and breaks within 5 minutes. Anything better than HD 515s and you'll want to be getting an amplifier or a sound card to power them, which can end up being costly. Hope I could be of some help.

  • So good... not linking to facebook as springbreak203 says!

  • This video was just added to a music playlist at JustPlay.fm

  • if your gonna listen to 'filth' you pretty much have to go through the roots to get there, other wise your listening to music instead of experiencing it and really listening to the heart of the tracks

  • check out KFCBrostep for the newest tracks from the likes of atists such as Skrillsux,Flux Pavian, and Doctor Pee,and Brogore

  • @KFCBrostep learn how to make a tune b4 you start spamming comments.

  • @liamjd1

you just cant take the brostep and listen to stoner shit like dmz instead

  • @KFCBrostep i got nothing against brostep,(not really my cup of tea, but im not gonna say its all bad) just THAT brostep is shite.

  • @liamjd1

    now think a bit

    skrillsux? flux pavian? KFC?

    dont you sense parody?

  • @KFCBrostep yeah i get it, but seriously maybe you should stop hating on brostep and let people enjoy it. we all know it dont really compare to this stuff but people listen to music on different levels, some people arent into the deep intellectual stuff and just wanna hear something loud and catchy, can you blame producers for capitalising on that? its not taking over dubstep or anything, tunes like this r the 1s that will be remembered in the long run.

  • @liamjd1

    im not really hating

    just parodying it

  • @KFCBrostep Cool, that was a general comment aimed at every1 really.

  • DMZ is not dead.

  • FIRST DMZ EVER!

  • this is the Youngsta and Task VIP mix

  • I'll have to agree with Frizstep, although I can't say it ruined it. If anything it's a subgenre. And if you truly enjoy the new dubstep, you should take the time to explore the origins of it all. There's different music for different feelings/moods or scenarios. I love to just sit back and chill to the true dubstep.

  • this tune changed everything. believe it or not, a few people used to call this scene "congo" before it became dubstep (not many lol). because tunes like this were the norm, around 2004.

  • Going to be seeing these fine bass heads in budapest for sziget next week. Gonna be keepin it loooooow man. Can't fuckin wait...

  • Can someone please fucking tell me what the lyrics are in that vocal sample? I hear something along the lines of:

"You will know your responsibility for the key #%^& substelligence."

  • I love how the beat is almost backwards, awesome tune

  • if this came on in a rave i would go fuckin nuts... now all i hear is bass cannon.

  • back to the roots!

    loefah,chef,joy orbision,distance,pinch,kryptic minds,mount kimbie,james blake,benga,skream,breakage,untold,kode9,zomby,king midas sound,rustie,mosca,l-vis 1990,bok bok.brackles,hyetal,el-b,j-da flex,noodles,wookie,mj cole,quest,ramadanman,shed,n-type,d1,goth trad,kromestar,hijak,fly lo,headhunter,jakes,ld,l.v.,martyn,pangaea,phaeleh,quarta 330,peverelist,silkie,synkro,zed bias,trg,joker,ikonika,cyrus,burial,the bug,hatcha,shortstuff,plastician,crissy cris,darkstar

  • @Pherox83 thanks for that mane - I totally forgot about this song and that list but these comments re-upped me :)

  • @ModeerFehT i think i love you

  • @Navstep I love you too :)

  • @ModeerFehT mate you know all the same artists as me, wow! you're cool mate. Let's state how up to date we think we are with the scene and how many artists we know so that people who aren't as into it as me can praise me for it........you're a cool guy man, really cool.

  • @Gianmarc01 your just a dick, wake up on the wrong side of the bed or summat, geez his post was 6 months old get a grip

  • @Gianmarc01 hes not cool, hes a fukin god he is worshiped by many people

  • @Gianmarc01 safe.. chill out bro.

  • @ModeerFehT I believe you missed out on one particular person a certain Mr Burial

  • @dorneyb I dont think he did look at the bottom

  • @dorneyb good point :P more garagy though - but certainly

  • @ModeerFehT ambient really let's not fuss haha

  • @dorneyb agree

  • @dorneyb tsss read it again :)

  • @ModeerFehT I've been waiting to find a comment like that. thank you O_e

  • @ModeerFehT Word, at last a good list thant acknowledges good new school dub, real shit didnt die after early releases from dmz and skream

  • @ModeerFehT Thanks for that list.

  • DMZ live are fucking incredible, never heard a heavier and deeper bassline since!

  • I havent been listening to dubstep quite that long but I started with the filth stuff (flux pavilion, UKF stuff), and digging in the genre I found DMZ, loefah, skream, coki. Love it, so chill.

  • @balmainfever You like chilled dub? I'd reccomend Benga, Xpressive, Suhk Knight, Alborosie and phaeleh, take a listen :]

  • @TheFusionDub thanks! i'll try it out :)

  • goddamnit man i come back to this all the time DMZ 001 its like the fundament of the sounds i listen to there would be no future garage or shackleton esque mysticism !! and as always this song is way too fucking short they should have made a 15 minute version of this tune

  • sick....

  • Dubstep Virgin goin at it hard....1st Lesson-THE HISTORY and Pioneers, wish me A's at my graduation .Respekkk

  • I have been doing the same thing as frizstep...taking a step back from the hype and digging into the roots. Oh the wonderful music that has been tucked away for only true dubstep fans to appreciate...I hope this stuff never gets popular.

  • @springbreak203 Amen. This music is amazing. First I listened to before going into brostep and now I'm back into this :)

  • @springbreak203 it wont, it takes some time to get used to this. I like it, but havent heard much of it

  • No matter how hard I try, I just cannot find the version with the tabla. Even in record shops! Could anyone please forward me to the right place to download and buy this?

  • Im newish to dubstep and the first thing i did was find the roots. Glad i did alot of the so called dubstep realeased now would of put me off the genre all together.

  • Comment removed

  • killa )) just killa ))

  • it`s not just about the wobble:))

  • you want dubbers with sense come to a great tune like this, you want new shit heads who dono wha dubstep is n in it for the "filth".. go to ukf

  • HARD.

  • I remember going to dubstep nights in croydon several years back and there would be like no more than twenty people. Was sick though, everyone was chilled and just feelin' it.

  • fuck dubstep

    golf wang

    FREE EARL

  • i like dubstep.

  • everyone wants to act like a mad cunt and say they have been in the "scene" since the begining... truth is, they only discovered this genre recently, but act like they've had a massive following with it for a while. Skream actually started making beats for dubstep in late '04... i doubt anyone here started listening to this type of music 3 years ago... think your so cool cos you listen something other people arnt familiar with... k, you're mad

  • @FeedMoi went to a house party in '05 and he played his first tracks to us off a cassette! :)

  • I agree this was dubstep back in the day, but people need to understand the general public think this is 2 step garage and that died in 98. We're in 2010 here and we need to move on and make something new. It's a shame cos this is super heavy weight!

  • ima stay with my dark shit yea :) big up

  • as dirty as your grandmas leopard print panties....

  • Can you feel that warm bass coming out of your subwoofer? That's what dubstep should have, not all that shitty mid-range noise.

  • im chewin my sub brain massarge

  • wicked track...

  • woah! this had like no views not that long ago!

  • the dubstep crowd and scene is the new haight-ashbury, soooooo diverse but so closely knit and revolutionary its a group all in its own and nothing can touch it.

  • All the Americans (I am one too) need to realize THIS is DUBSTEP. The absolute CRAP being put out by the likes of: Excision, Datsik, Dr. P, Borgore and all other is BROSTEP. NOT Dubstep. Long live DMZ.

  • i have always been a fan of filth and always got confused when DMZ fans got pissed off about their scene being killed.. but now i realise it kinda has took the shine off your scene cause people think dubstep is so crazy and new when actually its been around for ages and its so dark and chilled. Im glad i took a step back and decided to find out the roots of what i was listening to. I love DMZ!

  • @Frizstep Big ups mate, more people who are new(ish) to the scene should follow your example. Thanks to everyone for their comments

  • this is the sound the new listeners need

  • @bonsaichemist i started out kinda wtih hardstyle and saw a dubstep video in the suggestions. it was excision and ive gone back to this, skream, nit grit, benga, coki, old rusko, and well anything old. sometimes transformers having anal just isnt good enough for me

  • @Frizstep haha man ive been trying to explain this to soo many boregore fools and chase&status teenybopper fags .. i'm glad 'some' people new to the scene are appriciating it for what its truely worth

  • @Frizstep Same here still love the new metal stuff but the older stuff it proper, I'm a changed dubbstepper!!!!!!!!!!! And yeah dmz are where its at.

  • @Frizstep tru dat

  • @Frizstep

i don't hate on new dubstep, but I have big respect for those who actually took the time to dig up to the roots.

    8)

  • @Frizstep Beautiful sentiment here. Thanks a lot for sharing it. It gives me some hope for the future sound.

  • @Frizstep Same story here

    It's a shame that people only know Borgore,Diesel,Doctor P ,...

When it hasn't really have anything to do with the original dubstep.

  • Comment removed

  • @graveey ahhhh shut the fuck up you douche

  • @Frizstep completly agree

  • @Frizstep i'm the same way man, i used to be all about caspa and rusko till i heard mala blazed off my ass. haven't gone back since.

  • @Frizstep the child has learned <3

  • @Frizstep U cant find where ur going til u knw wher u or it came from gwannnn

  • @Frizstep quality comment mate.

  • @Frizstep

That's exactly what happened to me, I started off with the filthy stuff but then I started leaning towards this more. I enjoy this so much

  • @Frizstep u said it perfectly mate :) well i've been listening when it was still dmz, coki, n-type, kromestar, darkstar, .... and then filth was coming up and dubstep became more known and i flowed with it and forgot the REAL dubstep but now i'm turning back to the roots just because old dubstep has more chilled, relaxed vibes, vibes that can be brought to you by a good soundsystem, but no crazy disgusting filthy sounds, filthy sounds is not really dubstep to me.

  • @Frizstep props.

  • @Frizstep this is what im missing today: people do not look for the roots anymore... i mean take dmz - haunted and listen to it on a big soundsystem and youll see: there isnt anything that is more filthy today!

  • @Frizstep I did the exact same thing you did. i love proper dubstep.

  • Comment removed

  • @Frizstep forget i ever asked a question, just got it xD

  • @Frizstep same here buddy...people dont even know what real dubstep is..if you ask them they say wobbles im like..just slap yourself..its in the beat..thats why you can show someone this and they will tell you what the heck it doesnt even sound like dubstep..im telling you this through experience..people dont know what true dubstep is.

  • @Reptar9528 i feel ya

  • @Frizstep agreed. not hating on the filth, but there's something magical to the ominous held back power of roots dubstep... the new stuff is more like flithy half step

  • @Frizstep

yeah, same for me mate! this tune is crazy! Mad respect.

  • @Frizstep You are right mate. I did the same as you and I truely love darkstep & the roots of dubstep. Big Thumbsup ;)

  • @Frizstep I did the same you did mate. I got into dubstep a while back. Kinda jumped in somewhere in the middle and I loved to the sound it gave, but then I decided to go back to my roots of what I was listening to. And it's just as good.

  • too good for the mainstream

  • is this not the youngsta vip?

  • @yestoner Yeah it is, the original is different

  • hot

  • Lovely dubly.

  • seeing DMZ in 2 weeks can't wait!

  • @RiotAngel13 i envy you

  • offbeat??????!!!!!!!

  • DMZ really put the dub in dubstep! Big up!

  • MASSIVE

  • good old dread

  • Great tune, thanks for uploading :)

  • really liking this vibe, somethin properly motivational about this one but still proper chilled.

  • I can't find the 12" for anything under £64 :( help

  • @MCpapalop2 I can wish you luck but can't help I'm afraid, collectors prices kill it mate :D

  • @MCpapalop2 if your quick try discogs now, its @ £45

  • @MCpapalop2

lol Welcome to the 'elite' vinyl club.

  • @MCpapalop2 Just goes to show it was a game changing tune!

  • @MCpapalop2

if u love the tune enuff man fuck it!

  • @MCpapalop2 get your own done to honour them

  • @MCpapalop2

    try thepiratebay

  • @MCpapalop2 EBAY BRU XD

  • This is good compared to like more commercial people like caspa or borgore even who just have random 'wob wob' sounds. This keeps the drumbeat and is interesting all the way through. It doesnt need that heavy a drop cause its so mellow. I'm such a NERD

  • @IamMOD123 Nothing wrong with being a dubstep nerd!

  • Keep this type of dubstep alive. Lowe the "filthy as your gran" crap.

  • i like how in these videos there like no one saying "thumbs up if you think the tune is massive" because all they want is to be in the highest ratings and there not here for the music :)

  • This Is Dubstep At Its Best =)

  • love it

  • They both look like fukin nutters who'd shank you in a dark alley. i wouldn't mind getting shanked by them tho, this dubstep is sikkk

  • what a cock

  • dubstep 4 life these guys are fucking amazing

  • wow, i used to think i hated anything that had to do with techno before grand theft auto 4 and discovering "dubstep"

  • @ILoveYouMaryJ sorry but what the fuck has this got to do with techno

  • Dance techno tribe! Dance!!! This is neo-tribalism at it's finest.

  • Thats some dubstep. The new "filthy Dubstep" is not bad, but this is simply amazing

  • Now this is Dubstep!! Im not a big fan of all this new so called "filthy Dubstep"

  • @jamiejamie420 I get you, it's become a sub genre now, kind of like how some people don't like dark techy drum and bass but they like liquid. I'm glad you like it sir thanks for the comment ; )

  • @jamiejamie420

=> Gorestep, but its quite cheaply made

     borgore etc

    ^^

  • @MATSENAL i love most types of dubstep. The new filth dubstep is a case of extremes. its either really good and killer, or really reallly really bad. Borgore is fail. i hate the synths he uses. sounds like if you would put a huge sub woofer in a thick mud puddle.

  • @jamiejamie420 I've been saying this, the stuff that created dubstep is no longer seen as dubstep by the new audience. It's really sad to see.

  • JustBecause Mt.Eden is the first thing on youtube when you type in dubstep doesnt mean that Americans(only?)don't listen or understand other types of dubstep. The Americans(only?)your referring to, arent hardcore dubstep fans, they just like having a few or one dubstep song, which would make sense why its such a common/NotDirty song. If we like dubstep well listen to it all, just as everyone would, no matter if your from- America or not. And for the 5$ comment, your absolutely wrong, but its ok!
