@Idazmi7 Great, but Eggman was already the Japanese name. "Robotnik" never appears as his canonical true name until SA2 with the introduction of Gerald and Maria Robotnik. Until then, the name Ivo Robotnik was onlly in American canon.

Actually it depends on which story you're looking. At Sonic Adventure 2 'Dr. Robotnik' was the grandfather of 'Dr. Eggman'.

And at some he has an other first name.

In Adventure, they called him both.
