Oh, Philip. You're no fun! I think this vid is precious, entertaining...a reinterpretation. I know how you feel about things we miss from the past..how about Drakes Cakes..or Bazooka Bubble Gum or more important things? Were they better then? No argument here. As for the video, I LOVE it. How is it "dumbed down"? i find it to be a very interesting arrangement instrumentally and rhythmically. It's only the video that is silly. I prefer this version. Labi is great but I find the original a bit sugary. This version moves me more (admittedly not if I'm watching the video).
