The point that he can't use a computer, is that he is out of touch. It has little to do with his ability to run a country, but neither does being able to fly a plane. His lack of computer skills does show a typical trend. Learning new skills and adapting to a changing environment, becomes more difficult with age. As we get older we tend to stay within our own comfort zones, and shun new ideas. This is my concern. The world is ever changing, and we must learn to change with it, or fall behind.

I only use the computer for fun. I ran a city and several businesses without a computer. Technology or catastrophy?
Then u of all people should know, that the use of PCs has actually helped to enrich the minds of our young. If it wasn't for computers, you wouldn't have a job in IT, so you are of contradicting yourself. It's a different world now, and as an IT pro, you should be adapting to it rather than putting down our youth. I'm not a teen by the way, just defending the young minds of our time. Now, genetically altering crops, it's WRONG, I agree, but to put down progress in it's purity, is also wrong.

No. It is a technological advance that has made us more sanitary. Growing crops versus genetically altering food crop/dairy to produce at a much faster rate...the data shows that by doing so, we have sped up the hormone growth in our young females. I disagree 100%. I'll give you an example- My grandfather is one of the smartest people I know and should definitely be voting but he's not good with computers. Technological skills has nothing to do with voting. I think a better rule would be if you don't understand the amendments you shouldn't be voting.
