really the point to this is the north points and south points, in the structure you see at 1:07 you can see how there are dots that look like they are pointing torwards the end and the same thing at the other end, lets say the first one is north, because they are not and even grid like structure as in the middle they are focusing on holding onto one point which is the north point because there is no even structure, the same thing with the other end which you can say is south.
