to quote a great senator: "I'm a Christian, and I don't believe in judging people"
Anything you do on this earth is between you and God, nobody else. And it's no one's place to say your beliefs are right or wrong. As someone who's been doing pageants since she was 17, she should know better. She asked for everything she got, and then says people were attacking her, as if she hadn't set herself up for it. You HAVE to be neutral if you want to win a pageant. Come on now, even *I* know that.
haha she is so stupid! She failed to answer almost every single answer Mer asked her...She even used the word "meeted." She is so stupid and I'm glad our country ignored her so she couldn't spread her close minded opinions....heh
If someone represents California (even in a stupid miss America contest), they should represent the majority of California, which is not conservative, it is democratic and liberal. Also, she was being pretty bitchy to Maridith and got upset about Donald Trump DIVIDING WOMEN IN A BEAUTY CONTEST INTO GROUPS OF HOT AND NOT. Honestly, people these days are so stupid.
Freedom of speech was established to give citizens the right to speak freely without IMPRISONMENT, it didn't say anything about "liberal bias," she should actually read the fucking Bill of Rights.
Lol she's so bitter and trying to cash in with the Jesus Freaks. And even the National Organization for Marriage wants nothing to do with her, now that her sex tape has surfaced.
Just another irrelevant bubble-headed Bible Thumper.
Free-speech just got knocked the fuck out, like it ever really existed anyway *rolleyes*.
These fags have POWER. If you say anything that they even perceive as disrespectful then they'll make an example out of you. These people want you to know who you're dealing with.
All this woman did was express her belief that marriage is something between a man and a WOMAN, which is the truth. And now she's paying the price for it SMH.
once again, i have to say, first I am a Democrat overall and don't give a sh*t if my two gay neighbors who live their lives right want to get married. BUT BUT BUT again, the night of the pageant, she simply stated her BELIEF. That DOES NOT make her a bigot! And I also completely agree that their is a double standard against conservative women.
No offense to any homosexual men an women that read this, but i do belive it is sad when a woman can't even express her beliefs without the entire world thinking that she is a homophobic bimbo. I do agree with her, marriage is a sacred ritual that should only be held between and MAN an a WOMAN, and not any other way. More power to her, for saying what so many people are afraid to say, and can not say today without harsh criticisim.
@wiseguymaybe yes i see, i suppose regardless of whether or not people say that, some people will still get offended; i just merely wish to say that i am by no means trying to offen anyone, and that i should be entitled to my opinion without having to take criticisim for it, for i would never criticize one for his or her opinion
@defenderxvi I understand. But your reasoning a loosing battle. People are not sane any more. It's a joke to say, "if you read that Miss California has been MURDERED you know it was me," is demented , this person is no saner than Charles Manson. And if people cannot understand that, their just as insane. She is just as opinionated as those who are against her opion. and she tried hard not to be offense by saying by saying, "No offense, but this is my opinion." So she should be killed???
@defenderxvi And she did not say this in a hateful way. Talk about the real HATE CRIME here!! I didn't hear her say, "If you heard I murdered this or that person who is for homosexuality you know it was me??? Or all homosexuals and those people who are for same sex marriage are dumb, stupid, or bimbos!!! " Who really is hateful here????
@wiseguymaybe Yes i understand that im reasoning a loosing battle, but the only reason im loosing this battle because people are too afraid to stand up for what they believe in anymore. They are afraid that they will be branded as a homophobe or someone of that nature. I personally am not a homophobe, i just know what i believe in. Yes it is crazy that more people than not will consider what you said more acceptable than saying they are against homosexual marriage, but the world is crazy....
@xic4loca are you aware that it is considered a "hate crime" in Sweden to speak against homosexuality from the pulpit? I wish we had a similar law here, and that ministers could be thrown in jail for saying such things. Unfortunately, hate speech is protected speech here in the USA.
@xic4loca and I have no doubt that as we gay people gain our equality the religious nuts will get increasingly desperate to paint gay people in a bad light. Make no mistake about it, sister, you will LOSE this fight and you've already lost in my case because I'm married already, and there's not a damn thing Jesus can do about it.
@xic4loca but, I take great comfort in KNOWING that gay people will one day be treated equally under the law. The senior citizen people who are gay are beside themselves right now, because they never imagined a day when they would be permitted to marry the person they love. Here in San Francisco the first wedding was a lesbian couple who had been together FIFTY, that's 50 years! Imagine their joy... See, you're just an ignorant bigot, and I'm glad people put you in your place here.
@xic4loca when black people were in their struggle for civil rights a very similar thing happened, and also it was in the 'name of Christ," the KKK would circulate rumors that all black men raped white women. It was a fear tactic that worked for a while, until people woke up and realized it was a lie. Similarly, religious nuts, such as yourself, are going around and spreading lies about gay people. My "lifestyle' is marriage, do you have a problem with "marriage?"
@xic4loca gay people are making tremendous strides when it comes to our civil rights, as you probably have noticed, and in the last decade there has been an unbelievable worldwide effort underway to gain our equality under the law. It is unprecedented in the history of our planet. Ignorant religious folks, such as yourself, are getting increasingly desperate to paint gay people as "bad" or "immoral" people because we're gay. Guess what? IT'S NOT WORKING! Accept it, move on.
@xic4loca I was raised as the son of an Evangelical minister. I was "saved" at seven and rejected Christianity at 14, when I took the time to actually READ the bible. I was taught that I was a sinner because I was born gay. That's what I learned in church. I feel it is child abuse to teach a gay child that there is something wrong with them because of their innate orientation, and I would like this to actually become law someday.
@xic4loca oh, and gay men are far less likely to molest children when compared with straight men. A staggering 98 percent of child molesters are heterosexuals, and yet they comprise only between 90 and 95 percent of the population!
@xic4loca The mean household income among straight married couples is $93.000 whereas as gay male couples earn $120,000 and lesbians $95,000. The personal income shows that gay men again outperform straight men: Gay men earn $68,000 and straight men earn $61,000. How could I fail to mention that gay men have better sex more often, and we travel more than straights per capita?
@xic4loca Well, I must of course agree with what was posted below about sexual orientation is not a choice, however I would say that I'm glad Jesus chose me to be a gay man because it means I outperform straight men in life.
46 percent of gay men and 44 percent of lesbians have college degrees, whereas only 33 percent of straight men and 31 percent of straight women have college degrees!
@CunningLinguist4l5 never mind, I just read "her" profile page, and she says she's "Rachel" from Spain. I'm sure the "Spain" part is a lie, but Rachel could be her name. Whatever, she's a bitch...
@CunningLinguist4l5 you're welcome, and you're a good man for supporting gay people. I'm not gay either, but i get sick of the idiots like this person (I can't tell it he's male or female, but I've been calling her bitch! LOL). People like her/him really piss me off, because they know they're wrong, but won't admit it. I have PROOF, and that should shut him/her up.
@robertfusion why would you praise someone who is a bigot? Does this mean YOU are also a bigot? Anyone who opposes gay marriage is a bigot, and you cannot sugar coat this or use some form of religious nonsense to justify your opinion on this. You are wrong.
@TaneishaRed1990..... whats your definition of bigot? someone who disagrees with you?..what you mean to have opinion means your a bigot?
No i dont agree with homosexual "Marriage",also its interesting to note as u have mentioned science that in studies of identical twins when one of the twins is homosexual only in 53% of the time the other is.... which of course it should 100% as they are exacty the same..
@robertfusion no, you are completely missing the point here. A bigot is someone who opposes the rights of others. Therefore, a gay person can't be considered a bigot unless they oppose the rights of heterosexuals or another minority. Gay people don't want to deny any other group, however, some hetersoexuals, such as Carrie Prejean, ARE opposed to the civil rights of gay people. Therefore, she qualifies as bigoted.
@robertfusion there are actually many ways in which identical twins might differ. Sexual orientation is merely one of them. Look up handedness, and see what the percentages are. Are all identical twins either right or left handed? I don't think so. There is a consensus among the professionals in this field that there is at the very least a biological component to sexual orientation. Is there a gay gene? Not yet, but that doesn't mean it's not out there. They're searching for it.
@robertfusion scientists actually aren't expecting to find a gay gene, and there are many human characteristics which aren't controlled by genes alone. Handedness is one of them, as is sexual orientation. But, the notion that "environment" plays any role in sexual orientation seems to be invalidated by just what you said regarding identical twins. If they are raised in the same environment, how can their orientation come out differently? Makes no sense.
@robertfusion and, what about fraternal twins which often share very little in common? My husband has twin brothers, and they don't even look related. One is fat and bald and the other is slim with thick black hair. Their personalities are even more different.
@robertfusion if you are serious about studying this, there is an excellent paper written about it: The Only Question that Matters; Do People Choose their Sexual Orientation, by Chandler Burr. Google it. You will learn a lot from it. For one thing, you will learn that scientists have known for decades that you cannot choose your sexual orientation, nor can it be changed. Interesting, huh?
@TaneishaRed1990 ....Even if its so that this purely genetic ( and thats s heavily disputed)so what?...if its 100% genetic certain your born a kleptomaniac thats doesnt make stealing ok does it
@robertfusion How come you went on that other channel and called Perez Hilton a faggot? Are you proud of yourself? And, you want me to engage in intelligent debate with you? FUCK YOU!
@robertfusion The Royal College of Psychiatrists states:
" Despite almost a century of psychoanalytic and psychological speculation, there is no substantive evidence to support the suggestion that the nature of parenting or early childhood experiences play any role in the formation of a person's sexual orientation. Sexual orientation is biological in nature, determined by a complex interplay of genetic factors and the early uterine environment. It is therefore not a choice."
@robertfusion and, why would you even consider lumping homosexuality into the same category as kleptomania? That's stupid. First off, kleptomania is not considered a personal characteristic like homosexuality or heterosexuality you fool. Secondly, being gay isn't considered 100 percent genetic. Lots of human characteristics aren't 100 percent genetic, stupid.
@robertfusion being gay isn't a "behavior" it's part of someone's identity just as is race and gender. Why do most job applications these day lump together these aspects?
We do not discriminate on the basis of race, gender or sexual orientation. That's because none of those aspects of a person are chosen and none of them can be changed, and YES, I HAVE the science to back it up, and you have nothing.
@robertfusion and, once again, are you proud of your immaturity at calling Perez a faggot? Tell us, did that make you feel more of a man because you called some gay person a name. You're an immature piece of shit, and I HATE people like you. KISS MY BLACK ASS!
@TaneishaRed1990 .....Im happy to call perez a faggot because thats what he is...i dont use the word gay as this is the wrong use of the word...homosexual, homo, bumer, bender, bent ,are all terms in use which would you rather i call him?
@TaneishaRed1990 oh dear we all know that insults are a sign of a lost arguement....your showing your true colours..... perhaps you are a closet faggot ?
@robertfusion nope, heterosexual woman here. Nice try, though. And, hell yes you are ignorant and probably a breeder. I stand by everything I've said. You are a poor excuse for a human being. Incidentally, in MY country, it's spelled "color" not "colour." You are a guest here, when you come onto OUR youtube.
@xic4loca sure everyone has the right to speak their mind. George Wallace once said that black people shouldn't be allowed to go to school with white people. He had a lot of support among Americans in his area. Unfortunately, Carrie's statement here is equally bigoted and shouldn't be tolerated. Maybe you think it's OK to deny gay people their civil rights, I DON'T. It speaks volumes that you would support this woman's bigotry. Shame on you.
@TaneishaRed1990 I do believe marriage is between a women and man and I am not ashamed... that was a very biased question... I mean think about it.. a guy and a guy or a girl and a girl cannot make a child together it's not natural so it's not meant to be. Besides, he asked a question and she answered her opinion and now she is getting bashed at for speaking her opinion.
@xic4loca sorry, but you're just ignorant. Animals mate with same sex partners for LIFE, and you're telling me that it's not "natural?" Say WHAT? The definition of natural means "exists in nature." Therefore, homosexuality is equally as natural as heterosexuality, and it exists for a biological purpose. Stop being a bigot and bitch.
@xic4loca and, Carrie SHOULD be bashed for being a bigot. I think the response has been correct. She's a hateful person and her own mother had a lesbian affair, and yet this bitch opposes her mother's civil rights. She's a terrible person and deserved the lose this competition and lose her crown as Miss CA.
@xic4loca did you ever think that marriage between a man and a woman might be wrong for a gay person? NO! That's because you only think of yourself. You're selfish. Gay people deserve the same rights as straight people.
@TaneishaRed1990 I'm not selfish. I was telling the truth. You can't make a baby with a man and a man or a girl and a girl.. why can't you? Because it's not natural. Why is it not natural? Because it's not mean to be.
I'm NOT saying "i hate gays" I don't hate them.. I just think they're confused.
@xic4loca no, YOU are the confused one. First off, since when is marriage about making a baby? The two things are completely different concepts. In fact, 80 percent of black mothers don't get married. Does this make them confused? Hell no! Secondly, I have already educated you to the fact that homosexuality is equally as natural as heterosexuality as it exists in all species of animals. 7000 animal species have been documented as mating with same sex partners for LIFE.
@xic4loca and, if you aren't gay, then tell me why their marriage is any of your fucking business. Do you see gay people voting on heterosexual's marriages? Hell no! That's because it's not their business. People are either born gay or born straight, if you are gay then straight marriage makes no sense to you, and in fact it is morally wrong for a gay person to be in a heterosexual marriage. Ditto for straights in gay marriages. This isn't rocket science, dipshit.
@xic4loca and, hell yes you are selfish. Do you know that in multiple studies on the issue of gay people raising children it has been shown that gay people are actually superior to straights? In fact, gay people don't punish their children with violence. Gay people don't have abortions, and there are no teen lesbian mothers. Why is that? Because when gay people have children they are responsible parents, unlike many straight parents.
@xic4loca and, I also told you that being gay doesn't mean you can't have biological children. Many gay people have children, stupid. Just because someone is born gay doesn't mean they are sterile. Do you use that limited brain you have? Seriously, you're dumb.
@TaneishaRed1990 wow, you're the dumb one here.. I'm not saying they're sterile I'm saying they can't reproduce like a woman and man can.. they would have to adopt or have a sperm planted in a WOman. I'm trying to say is they can't reproduce sperm and sperm like a woman can't reproduce egg and egg.. it's not natural. So it's not meant to be.
@xic4loca actually YOU'RE the dumb one here. First off, since when is procreation related to marriage in ANY way? 80 percent of black mothers don't get married, are you telling me that they connect marriage and having a baby? Hell no! Secondly, what about the sheep that won't breed with the opposite sex? Ask any sheep farmer and he'll tell you that a certain percentage of sheep will not breed, but they have sex with the same gender. Are sheep natural? DUH! Use your limited brain.
@xic4loca and if "god" hadn't wanted homosexuality why are homosexuals born each year? Gay people and animals have existed since the beginning of time, and will always exist in ALL cultures. Why is this true? Is it a "chosen lifestyle' or "fad" or "faze" people go through? Hell no! People are BORN gay, you idiot, and the Catholic church acknowledges this. And, in case you aren't aware, gay people earn more money, have more education, travel more and they have better sex more often.
@TaneishaRed1990 you're not born gay. wow. Usually people find out their gay when they're in high school usually because their crazy hormones or they didn't have a good relationship and stopped trusting opposite sex. They just think they're gay. God never created man with a so-called "homosexual need." No baby is born a homosexual. Every baby is born male or female. In every place the Bible refers to homosexuality, the emphasis is upon the perversion of sexuality.
@xic4loca NEWSFLASH for a dumb person: ALL people usually find out their sexual orientation when they go through puberty, this is not limited to gay people. YOU didn't know you were straight until the same time period that a gay person discovered they were gay. This doesn't mean it was a choice. Why are you stupid about this? You seem really dense. Have you thought this through?
@xic4loca homosexuals are born every day, and Swedish scientists claim they can identify gay babies before birth (or will be able to in the future), based on brain sizes.
@xic4loca and, you clearly don't know your bible either. You need a LOT of education, this is clear. "Anyone who uses the bible to condemn homosexuality is WRONG." Those words were spoken by Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and he knows a hell of a lot more about the bible than you do. I think I'll believe him and not you.
"The current literature and most scholars in the field state that one's sexual orientation is not a choice; that is, individuals do not choose to be homosexual or heterosexual. There is no scientific evidence that abnormal parenting, sexual abuse, or other adverse life events influence sexual orientation,"
@xic4loca "Physical orientation and sexual orientation are not moral issues, and majority / minority phenomena in nature do not involve natural versus unnatural categories. The exceptional in nature is still natural, whether the exception is left-handedness or the homosexual orientation of erotic desire." D. Michael Quinn, ex-Mormon and former professor at Brigham Young University.
@xic4loca so, the next time you respond to me, would you kindly post ANY evidence that you can find which confirms that people are not born gay, and that being gay is a choice. Deal? If you do not find any evidence, please don't bother to respond to me. I have provided evidence from the experts in this field, from various countries, which confirm that people ARE born gay, and that they cannot change their orientation. Even the Catholic church agrees with this.
@xic4loca I'm sorry you've been brainwashed by the ignorant adults in your life, and that you have been taught badly regarding what the bible does and doesn't say about homosexuality, but I want you to take this opportunity to turn your life around and stop spouting off lies, and being a bigot towards gay people. They didn't choose their sexual orientation any more than I chose my race or gender. Therefore, you need to stop being so ignorant and accept these people who are "god's" children.
If homosexuality were a genetic problem, there would be little hope for the homosexual simply because there is no way that the genes in a person can be changed. And animals are not homosexuals.. they're animals.. yeah my dog likes to hump a pillow but that doesn't mean he's in love with a pillow. "The bad they think is good and the good they think is bad".
@xic4loca I'm sorry that your so ignorant. I really wish you'd do some studying on this. First off, your dog doesn't hump someone of the same or opposite gender, animals actually MATE with same or opposite sex partners for life. And, any sheep farmer can tell you that a certain percentage of sheep are gay and will NOT breed with the opposite sex for ANY reason. Tell me that this is a "genetic problem" or a "choice." That's just stupid.
@xic4loca the point about animals being homosexual is that it is a part of NATURE. Homosexuality actually serves a biological purpose, and it will always exist in humans and animals even if the religious assholes don't want it. Gay people are born every day, and you are powerless to stop this. Why do you try to convince me that people can change their orientation when this is simply not possible? People can change sexual "behavior' but NOT their orientation.
Most scientists today agree that sexual orientation is most likely the result of a complex interaction of environmental, cognitive and biological factors. In most people, it is shaped at an early age. There is also considerable recent evidence to suggest that biology, including genetic or inborn hormonal factors, play a significant role in a person’s sexuality… American Psychological Association
@xic4loca Sexuality…is a fundamental dimension of every human being. It is reflected physiologically, psychologically, and relationally in a person’s gender identity as well as in one’s primary sexual orientation and behavior. For some young men and women, that means a discovery that one is homosexual… U.S. Catholic Conference, Human Sexuality
@xic4loca The United States Catholic Conference (USCC) talks of “those persons for whom homosexuality is a permanent, seemingly irreversible sexual orientation." U.S. Catholic Conference, Human Sexuality: A Catholic Perspective for Education and Lifelong Learning, 1990, p.54-55
@xic4loca It seems appropriate to understand sexual orientation (heterosexual or homosexual) as a deep-seated dimension of one’s personality and to recognize its relative stability in a person. Always Our Children: A Pastoral Message to Parents of Homosexual Children and Suggestions for Pastoral Ministers, NCCB Committee on Marriage and Family, Third Printing, Revised, June 1998
@xic4loca Over 35 years of objective, well-designed scientific research has shown that homosexuality, in and of itself, is not associated with mental disorders or emotional or social problems…. There is no evidence to suggest that homosexuals are more likely than heterosexuals to molest children. American Psychological Association
@xic4loca Some persons find themselves through no fault of their own to have a homosexual orientation. US Bishops' Pastoral Letter, To Live In Christ Jesus, 1976
@xic4loca yes, it's good not to be Catholic. Although they are at least intelligent enough to realize that nobody chooses their sexual orientation and people are born gay. That's what science says too!
@TaneishaRed1990 Most educated gays know that it is impossible to be born gay and that it is a choice, although often not conscience. Drug addicts are not born that way, environment and socialization, just like the choice to be gay. Peopole who are pedophiles aren't "born to like children sexually" same with gays. And I hate to call them "Gays" because they certainly aren't happy people, also taking the rainbow. Another way to destroy anything pure...
@xic4loca gay people earn more money than straights, have more education than straights, travel more than straights, are better at parenting than straights, so why wouldn't they be more happy than straights? You make NO sense. And, yes gay people say that they are born that way, because that's what science says. Sorry, but you're just showing your ignorance again. I already educated you that science says that sexual orientation is INNATE, why are you a stubborn bitch?
@xic4loca you know you keep saying really really stupid things on youtube, and yet you've never posted ONE shred of evidence that being gay is a choice. I welcome you to do so now or shut the fuck up. I'm tired of ignorant people like you claiming to know something. I've posted numerous statements from top professional mental health and scientific organizations which categorically state that being gay is NOT a choice. It's common sense that it's not a choice. You're stupid, and I'm tired of it.
@xic4loca I also think you're a total bitch and I strongly dislike people like you. You haven't listened to ONE comment I've made which proves that sexual orientation is a choice. Did YOU choose your orientation? Hell no! Then why do you think gay people did you sick piece of shit. Grow up, and stop writing to me, bitch.
@xic4loca how about posting a statement from a professional organization that states that sexual orientation is a choice and can be changed. I'm waiting, BITCH! And, no I'm not gay, nor did I choose to be straight. I was born with it.
@TaneishaRed1990 Sure I can, but I don't need professional help to know this.. it's common sense, baby. Oh so you have a husband? Mhhmm.. wait don't tell me.. you were born to have him as a husband right?! :D
You tell me.. find a DNA sample that has a "gay gene" 8D
@xic4loca common sense tells EVERYONE that sexual orientation is NOT a choice. Did you choose to be straight? If so, tell me the date, month and year.
@xic4loca put your money where your mouth is cunt, and show me PROOF that sexual orientation is a choice. I've already proven that it is NOT a choice, and you lost this debate days ago, bitch.
@xic4loca see bitch, you don't know who you're fucking with, and I have already WON this argument, because I'm sure everyone else has noticed that you post NOTHING from any sort of scientific organization, but you just post your own stupid asshole Christian opinion, which means nothing to me nor anyone else. Provide PROOF, bitch.
@xic4loca Psychologists used to believe homosexuality was caused by nurture —namely overbearing mothers and distant fathers—but that theory has been disproved. Today scientists are looking at genes, environment, brain structure and hormones.
@xic4loca put up, or shut the fuck up, bitch. I want PROOF in the form of scientific studies, which shows that sexual orientation is a choice or even that it can be changed. I'll be waiting, bitch.
@xic4loca quote from a scientific researcher on the issue of sexual orientation: As the research continues, we are finding that a variety of biological factors,
both genetic and hormonal, correlate with same-sex orientation. It seems to be a
trait arrived at through a number of different sets of circumstances in the body and
brain. We are gradually discovering what those circumstances are, and marveling
if you said that you agree with the Catholic church that being gay is not a choice, but "acting" on your innate orientation through homosexual behavior IS a choice, I would respect you more. However, that's not what you seem to be saying here.
@xic4loca so, let me get this right, you think gay men "choose' to have larger brains than straight men? And, gay men "choose" to smell differently from straight men? I'm trying to follow your ignorant brain here.
@xic4loca incidentally, for everything we've said here about homosexual orientation the same is true of heterosexual orientation. In other words, science doesn't yet know that causes heterosexuality anymore than they know what causes people to be born homosexual. However, the consensus is that neither orientation is chosen, and that there ARE biological components which influence one's innate orientation. Therefore, it is NOT a choice.
@TaneishaRed1990 thanks for posting all of that information. I'd like to read some of those articles which prove that people don't choose our sexual orientation. It's pretty obvious to anyone who stops and thinks about this issue. Do people choose to be stupid? I think 4loco does!

Bigotry is not an opinion, it's a way of life. Respect needs to be earned. Bigots are tolerated, but bigotry can not and should not be "respected".
Should the opinions of racists be respected? Should those who deny the Holocaust be respected?
Hate is a definite part of our society. The days where such "opinions" are respected are behind us.
You can keep on hating and continue embracing injustice and unfairness. Don't look for "respect" for being someone who loves to hate.

Are you confusing "freedom of speech" with "I don't want to be accountable for my speech"?

once again, i have to say, first I am a Democrat overall and don't give a sh*t if my two gay neighbors who live their lives right want to get married.

More power to her, for saying what so many people are afraid to say, and can not say today without harsh criticisim.
defenderxvi 5 months ago
@defenderxvi Ahhh... Watch out defenderxvi. That's the way Carrie started her response... that is "no offense." Look what happened to her!!!
wiseguymaybe 5 months ago
@wiseguymaybe yes i see, i suppose regardless of whether or not people say that, some people will still get offended; i just merely wish to say that i am by no means trying to offen anyone, and that i should be entitled to my opinion without having to take criticisim for it, for i would never criticize one for his or her opinion
defenderxvi 5 months ago
@defenderxvi I understand. But your reasoning a loosing battle. People are not sane any more. It's a joke to say, "if you read that Miss California has been MURDERED you know it was me," is demented , this person is no saner than Charles Manson. And if people cannot understand that, their just as insane. She is just as opinionated as those who are against her opion. and she tried hard not to be offense by saying by saying, "No offense, but this is my opinion." So she should be killed???
wiseguymaybe 5 months ago
@defenderxvi And she did not say this in a hateful way. Talk about the real HATE CRIME here!! I didn't hear her say, "If you heard I murdered this or that person who is for homosexuality you know it was me??? Or all homosexuals and those people who are for same sex marriage are dumb, stupid, or bimbos!!! " Who really is hateful here????
wiseguymaybe 5 months ago

Unfortunately, hate speech is protected speech here in the USA.
lisztnut 6 months ago
@xic4loca and I have no doubt that as we gay people gain our equality the religious nuts will get increasingly desperate to paint gay people in a bad light. Make no mistake about it, sister, you will LOSE this fight and you've already lost in my case because I'm married already, and there's not a damn thing Jesus can do about it.
lisztnut 6 months ago
@xic4loca but, I take great comfort in KNOWING that gay people will one day be treated equally under the law. The senior citizen people who are gay are beside themselves right now, because they never imagined a day when they would be permitted to marry the person they love. Here in San Francisco the first wedding was a lesbian couple who had been together FIFTY, that's 50 years! Imagine their joy... See, you're just an ignorant bigot, and I'm glad people put you in your place here.
lisztnut 6 months ago
@xic4loca when black people were in their struggle for civil rights a very similar thing happened, and also it was in the 'name of Christ," the KKK would circulate rumors that all black men raped white women. It was a fear tactic that worked for a while, until people woke up and realized it was a lie. Similarly, religious nuts, such as yourself, are going around and spreading lies about gay people. My "lifestyle' is marriage, do you have a problem with "marriage?"
lisztnut 6 months ago
@xic4loca gay people are making tremendous strides when it comes to our civil rights, as you probably have noticed, and in the last decade there has been an unbelievable worldwide effort underway to gain our equality under the law. It is unprecedented in the history of our planet. Ignorant religious folks, such as yourself, are getting increasingly desperate to paint gay people as "bad" or "immoral" people because we're gay. Guess what? IT'S NOT WORKING! Accept it, move on.
lisztnut 6 months ago
@xic4loca I was raised as the son of an Evangelical minister. I was "saved" at seven and rejected Christianity at 14, when I took the time to actually READ the bible. I was taught that I was a sinner because I was born gay. That's what I learned in church. I feel it is child abuse to teach a gay child that there is something wrong with them because of their innate orientation, and I would like this to actually become law someday.
lisztnut 6 months ago

@xic4loca how could I fail to mention that one in four women in the world is physically abused by a heterosexual male?
lisztnut 6 months ago
@xic4loca oh, and gay men are far less likely to molest children when compared with straight men. A staggering 98 percent of child molesters are heterosexuals, and yet they comprise only between 90 and 95 percent of the population!
lisztnut 6 months ago
@xic4loca The mean household income among straight married couples is $93.000 whereas as gay male couples earn $120,000 and lesbians $95,000. The personal income shows that gay men again outperform straight men: Gay men earn $68,000 and straight men earn $61,000. How could I fail to mention that gay men have better sex more often, and we travel more than straights per capita?
lisztnut 6 months ago
@xic4loca Well, I must of course agree with what was posted below about sexual orientation is not a choice, however I would say that I'm glad Jesus chose me to be a gay man because it means I outperform straight men in life.
46 percent of gay men and 44 percent of lesbians have college degrees, whereas only 33 percent of straight men and 31 percent of straight women have college degrees!

@robertfusion why would you praise someone who is a bigot? Does this mean YOU are also a bigot? Anyone who opposes gay marriage is a bigot, and you cannot sugar coat this or use some form of religious nonsense to justify your opinion on this. You are wrong.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990..... whats your definition of bigot? someone who disagrees with you?..what you mean to have opinion means your a bigot?
No i dont agree with homosexual "Marriage",also its interesting to note as u have mentioned science that in studies of identical twins when one of the twins is homosexual only in 53% of the time the other is.... which of course it should 100% as they are exacty the same..
robertfusion 6 months ago
@robertfusion no, you are completely missing the point here. A bigot is someone who opposes the rights of others. Therefore, a gay person can't be considered a bigot unless they oppose the rights of heterosexuals or another minority. Gay people don't want to deny any other group, however, some hetersoexuals, such as Carrie Prejean, ARE opposed to the civil rights of gay people. Therefore, she qualifies as bigoted.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@robertfusion there are actually many ways in which identical twins might differ. Sexual orientation is merely one of them. Look up handedness, and see what the percentages are. Are all identical twins either right or left handed? I don't think so. There is a consensus among the professionals in this field that there is at the very least a biological component to sexual orientation. Is there a gay gene? Not yet, but that doesn't mean it's not out there. They're searching for it.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@robertfusion scientists actually aren't expecting to find a gay gene, and there are many human characteristics which aren't controlled by genes alone. Handedness is one of them, as is sexual orientation. But, the notion that "environment" plays any role in sexual orientation seems to be invalidated by just what you said regarding identical twins. If they are raised in the same environment, how can their orientation come out differently? Makes no sense.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@robertfusion and, what about fraternal twins which often share very little in common? My husband has twin brothers, and they don't even look related. One is fat and bald and the other is slim with thick black hair. Their personalities are even more different.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@robertfusion if you are serious about studying this, there is an excellent paper written about it: The Only Question that Matters; Do People Choose their Sexual Orientation, by Chandler Burr. Google it. You will learn a lot from it. For one thing, you will learn that scientists have known for decades that you cannot choose your sexual orientation, nor can it be changed. Interesting, huh?
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 ....Even if its so that this purely genetic ( and thats s heavily disputed)so what?...if its 100% genetic certain your born a kleptomaniac thats doesnt make stealing ok does it

TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@robertfusion you can kiss my black ass.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@robertfusion The Royal College of Psychiatrists states:
" Despite almost a century of psychoanalytic and psychological speculation, there is no substantive evidence to support the suggestion that the nature of parenting or early childhood experiences play any role in the formation of a person's sexual orientation. Sexual orientation is biological in nature, determined by a complex interplay of genetic factors and the early uterine environment. It is therefore not a choice."
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@robertfusion and, why would you even consider lumping homosexuality into the same category as kleptomania? That's stupid. First off, kleptomania is not considered a personal characteristic like homosexuality or heterosexuality you fool. Secondly, being gay isn't considered 100 percent genetic. Lots of human characteristics aren't 100 percent genetic, stupid.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@robertfusion being gay isn't a "behavior" it's part of someone's identity just as is race and gender. Why do most job applications these day lump together these aspects?
We do not discriminate on the basis of race, gender or sexual orientation. That's because none of those aspects of a person are chosen and none of them can be changed, and YES, I HAVE the science to back it up, and you have nothing.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@robertfusion and, once again, are you proud of your immaturity at calling Perez a faggot? Tell us, did that make you feel more of a man because you called some gay person a name. You're an immature piece of shit, and I HATE people like you. KISS MY BLACK ASS!

xic4loca 7 months ago
@xic4loca sure everyone has the right to speak their mind. George Wallace once said that black people shouldn't be allowed to go to school with white people. He had a lot of support among Americans in his area. Unfortunately, Carrie's statement here is equally bigoted and shouldn't be tolerated. Maybe you think it's OK to deny gay people their civil rights, I DON'T. It speaks volumes that you would support this woman's bigotry. Shame on you.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 I do believe marriage is between a women and man and I am not ashamed... that was a very biased question... I mean think about it.. a guy and a guy or a girl and a girl cannot make a child together it's not natural so it's not meant to be. Besides, he asked a question and she answered her opinion and now she is getting bashed at for speaking her opinion.
xic4loca 6 months ago
@xic4loca sorry, but you're just ignorant. Animals mate with same sex partners for LIFE, and you're telling me that it's not "natural?" Say WHAT? The definition of natural means "exists in nature." Therefore, homosexuality is equally as natural as heterosexuality, and it exists for a biological purpose. Stop being a bigot and bitch.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca and, Carrie SHOULD be bashed for being a bigot. I think the response has been correct. She's a hateful person and her own mother had a lesbian affair, and yet this bitch opposes her mother's civil rights. She's a terrible person and deserved the lose this competition and lose her crown as Miss CA.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca I'm proud that my state of New York has decided to treat gays equally. Hooray!
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca did you ever think that marriage between a man and a woman might be wrong for a gay person? NO! That's because you only think of yourself. You're selfish. Gay people deserve the same rights as straight people.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 I'm not selfish. I was telling the truth. You can't make a baby with a man and a man or a girl and a girl.. why can't you? Because it's not natural. Why is it not natural? Because it's not mean to be.
I'm NOT saying "i hate gays" I don't hate them.. I just think they're confused.
xic4loca 6 months ago
@xic4loca no, YOU are the confused one. First off, since when is marriage about making a baby? The two things are completely different concepts. In fact, 80 percent of black mothers don't get married. Does this make them confused? Hell no! Secondly, I have already educated you to the fact that homosexuality is equally as natural as heterosexuality as it exists in all species of animals. 7000 animal species have been documented as mating with same sex partners for LIFE.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca and, if you aren't gay, then tell me why their marriage is any of your fucking business. Do you see gay people voting on heterosexual's marriages? Hell no! That's because it's not their business. People are either born gay or born straight, if you are gay then straight marriage makes no sense to you, and in fact it is morally wrong for a gay person to be in a heterosexual marriage. Ditto for straights in gay marriages. This isn't rocket science, dipshit.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca and, hell yes you are selfish. Do you know that in multiple studies on the issue of gay people raising children it has been shown that gay people are actually superior to straights? In fact, gay people don't punish their children with violence. Gay people don't have abortions, and there are no teen lesbian mothers. Why is that? Because when gay people have children they are responsible parents, unlike many straight parents.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca and, I also told you that being gay doesn't mean you can't have biological children. Many gay people have children, stupid. Just because someone is born gay doesn't mean they are sterile. Do you use that limited brain you have? Seriously, you're dumb.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 wow, you're the dumb one here.. I'm not saying they're sterile I'm saying they can't reproduce like a woman and man can.. they would have to adopt or have a sperm planted in a WOman. I'm trying to say is they can't reproduce sperm and sperm like a woman can't reproduce egg and egg.. it's not natural. So it's not meant to be.
xic4loca 6 months ago
@xic4loca actually YOU'RE the dumb one here. First off, since when is procreation related to marriage in ANY way? 80 percent of black mothers don't get married, are you telling me that they connect marriage and having a baby? Hell no! Secondly, what about the sheep that won't breed with the opposite sex? Ask any sheep farmer and he'll tell you that a certain percentage of sheep will not breed, but they have sex with the same gender. Are sheep natural? DUH! Use your limited brain.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca and if "god" hadn't wanted homosexuality why are homosexuals born each year? Gay people and animals have existed since the beginning of time, and will always exist in ALL cultures. Why is this true? Is it a "chosen lifestyle' or "fad" or "faze" people go through? Hell no! People are BORN gay, you idiot, and the Catholic church acknowledges this. And, in case you aren't aware, gay people earn more money, have more education, travel more and they have better sex more often.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 you're not born gay. wow. Usually people find out their gay when they're in high school usually because their crazy hormones or they didn't have a good relationship and stopped trusting opposite sex. They just think they're gay. God never created man with a so-called "homosexual need." No baby is born a homosexual. Every baby is born male or female. In every place the Bible refers to homosexuality, the emphasis is upon the perversion of sexuality.
xic4loca 6 months ago
@xic4loca NEWSFLASH for a dumb person: ALL people usually find out their sexual orientation when they go through puberty, this is not limited to gay people. YOU didn't know you were straight until the same time period that a gay person discovered they were gay. This doesn't mean it was a choice. Why are you stupid about this? You seem really dense. Have you thought this through?
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca homosexuals are born every day, and Swedish scientists claim they can identify gay babies before birth (or will be able to in the future), based on brain sizes.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca and, you clearly don't know your bible either. You need a LOT of education, this is clear. "Anyone who uses the bible to condemn homosexuality is WRONG." Those words were spoken by Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and he knows a hell of a lot more about the bible than you do. I think I'll believe him and not you.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca Can a homosexual orientation be changed?
Homosexuality is not an illness. It does not require treatment and is not changeable.
American Psychological Association, Answers to Your Questions About Sexual Orientation and Homosexuality
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca
The American Academy of Pediatrics states:
"The current literature and most scholars in the field state that one's sexual orientation is not a choice; that is, individuals do not choose to be homosexual or heterosexual. There is no scientific evidence that abnormal parenting, sexual abuse, or other adverse life events influence sexual orientation,"
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca "Physical orientation and sexual orientation are not moral issues, and majority / minority phenomena in nature do not involve natural versus unnatural categories. The exceptional in nature is still natural, whether the exception is left-handedness or the homosexual orientation of erotic desire." D. Michael Quinn, ex-Mormon and former professor at Brigham Young University.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca so, the next time you respond to me, would you kindly post ANY evidence that you can find which confirms that people are not born gay, and that being gay is a choice. Deal? If you do not find any evidence, please don't bother to respond to me. I have provided evidence from the experts in this field, from various countries, which confirm that people ARE born gay, and that they cannot change their orientation. Even the Catholic church agrees with this.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca I'm sorry you've been brainwashed by the ignorant adults in your life, and that you have been taught badly regarding what the bible does and doesn't say about homosexuality, but I want you to take this opportunity to turn your life around and stop spouting off lies, and being a bigot towards gay people. They didn't choose their sexual orientation any more than I chose my race or gender. Therefore, you need to stop being so ignorant and accept these people who are "god's" children.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
If homosexuality were a genetic problem, there would be little hope for the homosexual simply because there is no way that the genes in a person can be changed. And animals are not homosexuals.. they're animals.. yeah my dog likes to hump a pillow but that doesn't mean he's in love with a pillow. "The bad they think is good and the good they think is bad".
xic4loca 6 months ago
@xic4loca I'm sorry that your so ignorant. I really wish you'd do some studying on this. First off, your dog doesn't hump someone of the same or opposite gender, animals actually MATE with same or opposite sex partners for life. And, any sheep farmer can tell you that a certain percentage of sheep are gay and will NOT breed with the opposite sex for ANY reason. Tell me that this is a "genetic problem" or a "choice." That's just stupid.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca the point about animals being homosexual is that it is a part of NATURE. Homosexuality actually serves a biological purpose, and it will always exist in humans and animals even if the religious assholes don't want it. Gay people are born every day, and you are powerless to stop this. Why do you try to convince me that people can change their orientation when this is simply not possible? People can change sexual "behavior' but NOT their orientation.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca What causes homosexuality?

TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
Another way to destroy anything pure...
xic4loca 6 months ago
@xic4loca gay people earn more money than straights, have more education than straights, travel more than straights, are better at parenting than straights, so why wouldn't they be more happy than straights? You make NO sense. And, yes gay people say that they are born that way, because that's what science says. Sorry, but you're just showing your ignorance again. I already educated you that science says that sexual orientation is INNATE, why are you a stubborn bitch?
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago

@xic4loca read and weep ignorant bitch: Researchers do not expect, and have never expected, to find a single master
“gay gene.” Research shows many biological pathways which may lead to a
same-sex orientation, including genes, hormone levels and the prenatal environment
in the mother’s womb.

@xic4loca There is evidence that prenatal androgen plays more of a role in homosexuality
in women than it does in men
• Manipulating prenatal hormone levels has been shown to alter sexual orientation
in laboratory mice and in sheep.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca Sexual orientation is a complex trait2 which appears to have multiple
mechanisms acting upon it. It is unlikely that there is a single cause,
although it is quite clear that the primary roots of the trait lie in biology.
• There is evidence of a pattern of maternal transmission for male homosexuality
(for it being “passed down” by unknown means through the mother’s
side of the family.)
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca • The heritability of sexual orientation is estimated between 30% and 50%.
By comparison, the heritability of left-handedness is estimated at 26% or
lower.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca • Significant genetic linkage to male homosexuality has been found on the X
Chromosome at Xq284 and on Chromosome 7 at 7q36,5 with two additional
regions (8p12 and 10q26) identified as areas of interest for future study.
• Male identical twins are more likely than non-identical twins or ordinary
siblings to share the same sexual orientation. Siblings are more likely to
share the same orientation than non-siblings.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca The sexual orientation of adopted children is not influenced by that of their
adoptive parents, which points to biology rather than upbringing as the
defining influence.

@xic4loca In 2000, Dr. Marc Breedlove and Dr. Cynthia Jordan of Michigan State
University looked for physical signs of prenatal androgen exposure. The levels
of androgen received by the fetus are responsible for most physical characteristics
that differentiate men and women. Other than the genitalia, all of
the obvious differences we observe in men’s and women’s bodies are
believed to be a result of androgens which masculinize the male fetus.

@xic4loca So do more men arrive at a homosexual orientation by a genetic path and more
women by a hormonal one? Research continues.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca Writing about research into male-male orientation in
sheep, the authors conclude that ongoing research may:
“strengthen the notion that steroids affect the human hypothalamus to influence
sexual orientation in adulthood. If the results pan out this way, it’s going to
be increasingly difficult to condemn homosexuality as a lifestyle choice rather
than an ingrained property of the human heart.”
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca Gay men and lesbians are more likely than straight men and women to be lefthanded.
Since hand preference can be observed in the womb, this suggests a
prenatal influence.
• Gay men’s object location memory skills exceed that of straight men. Gay
men’s skill level in this involuntary indicator of brain organization between the
sexes approaches that of straight women.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca Both lesbians and gay men outperform heterosexual men and women in verbal
fluency from early childhood.
• There is strong evidence that the structure of the anterior hypothalamus in
mammals influences sexual orientation in males.

differently than straight men and women; a clear difference in an involuntary

@xic4loca Science is firmly on the path of establishing the innate nature of the trait of homosexuality.
The preponderance of the evidence would lead any rational person to conclude
that biology, not choice, drives sexual orientation - both gay and straight.

@xic4loca The American Psychological Association
“For over three decades the consensus of the mental health community has been
that homosexuality is not an illness and therefore not in need of a cure. There is no

@xic4loca “Psychologists used to believe homosexuality was caused by nurture —
namely overbearing mothers and distant fathers — but that theory has been
disproved. Today, scientists are looking at genes, environment, brain structure
and hormones. There is one area of consensus: that homosexuality
involves more than just sexual behavior; it’s physiological.”

@xic4loca quote from a scientific researcher on the issue of sexual orientation: As the research continues, we are finding that a variety of biological factors,
both genetic and hormonal, correlate with same-sex orientation. It seems to be a
trait arrived at through a number of different sets of circumstances in the body and
brain. We are gradually discovering what those circumstances are, and marveling
at their complexity.

if you said that you agree with the Catholic church that being gay is not a choice, but "acting" on your innate orientation through homosexual behavior IS a choice, I would respect you more. However, that's not what you seem to be saying here.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca so, let me get this right, you think gay men "choose' to have larger brains than straight men? And, gay men "choose" to smell differently from straight men? I'm trying to follow your ignorant brain here.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@xic4loca incidentally, for everything we've said here about homosexual orientation the same is true of heterosexual orientation. In other words, science doesn't yet know that causes heterosexuality anymore than they know what causes people to be born homosexual. However, the consensus is that neither orientation is chosen, and that there ARE biological components which influence one's innate orientation. Therefore, it is NOT a choice.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 thanks for posting all of that information. I'd like to read some of those articles which prove that people don't choose our sexual orientation. It's pretty obvious to anyone who stops and thinks about this issue. Do people choose to be stupid? I think 4loco does!
