Check out my video on my channel about the water color in the lake where most of my adult breeders came from. You will see the water is not clear in the lake. It is a brown-greenish color. When we get a lot of rain it is chocolate brown and in the spring when we get alot of rain and the water drains out the swamp it is black. Just saying

I can gauranty you that they didn't come from my farm if they bought them in the U.S. You may ask how I know this, because of an FDA regulation farmer can't legally sell them in the U.S. I don't sell mine in the U.S.I have shipped millions of baby turtles to the foreign markets with no complaints.This may be due to 50 years of combined experience raising baby turtles. Most people deal with 1 or 2 on a regular basis.There is a big difference taking care of 5 or several hunderd turtles. Justsaying
