Definitely not a mistake. The film trades in ethnic stereotypes. The "Romanian" is part of the game.

In any case, Dimitriu is a Romanian name, not a Serbian one. So either this is a serious realist drama in which ethnicity gets dealt with in a complex and subtle way, or it is a glorious pastiche of an action movie that makes very little sense.
