Why didn't he help?, Why did it take so long for the medics to get to him?, Did the driver die?, Why did they tend to the Kart before they tended to the driver?, What kind of kart was this?, Where was this?, Why wasn't he wearing a seatbelt?, How did they get so many fans in the stands for a local Kart race? and What was the driver trying to do?

I'm thinking that he may not be staff and maybe just a spectator. If I was just spectating then I would wait until I knew I wouldn't get hit before I went onto the track. I mean, there's really not much he can do since he isn't a paramedic and it's better to have just one person hurt instead of two. I think the guy made the right choice to stand there.

A few things ...

1. Watching it a bunch of times, it does look like he had just begun to decelerate.

2. Braking or not wasn't the reason for the crash. He got pinched when the kart in front of him moved right and he ran up that kart's rear tire and got launched. Brake sooner, no launch but he was RACING.

3. There's no reason to call the guy a "dipshit" regardless of who he is. It wasn't that bad a move, just a bad result. Again, that's racing.

4. It's "braking", not "breaking".
