QUick Question. Anybody figure out how to run true duals STRAIGHT back on a 5.7 Hemi? No turns/bends in the exhaust pipes at all? Thats what I wanna do. But my gas tank obviously is a problem.
@wisdometernal you cant. there are not very many vehicles, that iv seen anyway, that you can just have literally straight pipes out the back. unless you wanna lose a lot of clearence and go under the gas tank. otherwise, nope, nothin you can do about it.
@wisdometernal Do what my generation did on the Mustang II's Run the pipes down the same side of the truck.
All Napa stores sell a 2 inlet 2 Outlet Cat. It'll run you about $90-100 depending on location. Each inlet is about 2" OD and the Outlets are the same. Then just run two pipes down the right side, cross over the rear, then split them behind the pumpkin. Muffler or tip the ends to taste. Enjoy!
i think it sounds awesome wit cats on it, i hav a 1994 dodge 1500 reg cab short box with true duals wit no cats or mufflers just complete straights and i like it loud and it is LOUD! but ur system does rock

ya on my 5.9l gas dodge i got i have same setup and its not near as loud the 4.7s are very nice sounding.
