  • As of Monday July 18, 2011, Boomerang has been re-running this version of Jonny Quest, instead of the 1960s version.

  • I was wondering if you can please upload the closing credits for this series? Also, after the credits, please add in the 1986 Hanna-Barbera CGI Swirling star logo without the bliyne

  • I don't have it, I'm afraid.

  • Man the opening music is one of the most great Jazz pieces I ever heard.

  • Damn, give me my late 60's Jonny Quest over this cheese.

  • 80's Quest sucked... Race was all buff, Jonny had a look of 'tude on his face, and the monsters were lame. The 90's version was much better. The characters were updated, but more realistic and "naturally" tough, not that "all talk no walk" 80's stuff. The 60's stuff however, will never be topped.

  • So horrible. They didn't get it. Both eras are cheesy but the original made things more real and the weird stuff more out there. The mummy didn't talk. Turu didn't talk. The energy monster didn't talk. The sea haunt monster didn't talk. Rock dude??!! Wtf

  • Acho muito injusto que Petronios tenha side excluido da terceira fase de Johnny Quest.

  • I find this more entertaining than 'Secrect Saturdays'. Anyone agree?

  • I'm sorry to hear this. If you should ever come across anyone who can upload the outro to 1987 Johnny Quest, could you please notify me? Thank you so much.

  • I will.

  • @raccoon85 - did you say you were looking for the closing credits of the 1980s Jonny Quest? Well I found a full episode of the 1980s JQ...complete with closing credits and all on the Big Cartoon Database website.

  • Um, nice upload. And great score too.

I've been desperately trying to get the closing credits from this 1987 version of Johnny Quest. In simpler terms, the Johnny Quest outro of 1987. I don't suppose that could be uploaded, by any chance?

  • I'm afraid I never did record all of the outro.

  • sadly the DVD edits the johnny quest episodes.

  • This video is now listed as private. s there a way that I can see it again. I'd like to show it to my daughters

  • Did your daughters like it?

  • Yes, They did. Thanks 4 asking and sorry that it took so long to return your call.

  • Thank you for the compliment! My favorite job at the time was as a staff composer for Hoyt Curtain @ Hanna Barbera! This particular piece of of music that I composed was used to close most of the shows. Again, thanks a million for the compliment!

    Best,

    John Massari

  • My pleasure!!

  • JESTEM CIEKAWY CZY BIEDZIE LECIEĆ NA BOOMERANGU INPERATOŻE Ixapter

  • Many years later, HardRock left the Quest team over "creative differences" with Race Bannon. Race went on to become a morning traffic DJ in Cleveland, HardRock started a line of restaurants based on mediocre food and cheesy memorabilia.

  • The cartoon remakes have not been very good. As an adult now I can't sit through the remakes, but the originals are still classics that hold up well. I'd like to see a live action movie if they can capture the essence of the old 60's toons. Bruce Willis or Brad Pitt would make a great Race Bannon. maybe Kenneth Branagh or Damin Lewis as Doctor Quest.

  • Actually, I read that they're shooting for a 2010 release with Zac Efron as Jonny. Which sucks. He's also going to be ruining an anime series called Full Metal Panic.

  • That will suck. They should have gotten big names to do the supporting adult rolls and gone with young no-names to do the kids. Also should stick with the 60's format. Much more intelligent. Too back

  • Boy, the 80's remakes sucked! The original Johnny Quest was like a kids James Bond cartoon. These were so PC and lame. If they ever do a live action movie I hope they base it off the 60's version and not this dribble!

  • they shoudnt make a lie acyion one it will be weird they should make cartoon ones

  • But it's better than most of the junky cartoons today.

  • I'm a big fan of Jonny Quest, but I never saw the second season, but the music sounds great, even if its not Hoyt Curtin composing. But above all, it'll always be a great show.

  • who deos the Voice of Jonny in this version.

  • Scott Menville.

  • was he just kid when he recorded his Voice for Jhonny in this episode.

  • Yes.

  • really how old was he.?

  • 16.

  • wow how old is he now? and who did The voces of Dr Quest Hithci and Rac bannon and jesse of course.

  • 37. Don Messick did Dr Quest, Rob Paulsen did Hadji, and Granville Van Dusen did Race. Jessie was not in this version.

  • i see who did Rene Auberjoin do the Voice of?

  • Rene Auberjonois? He was on the show, but there's no information on whom he specifically voiced. Must have been a minor or one-shot character(s).

  • too bad hoyt curtin didn't compose the music for this second version of the show.
