It's not released yet, the production of the first batch will start around april 1st (hopefully). Instructions to pre order one can be found on the openpandora site. Besides, Firefox already works, but the wi-fi still needs some tweaking, but when the wi-fi is fixed, it should do all those internet chores like a charm.

its not out yet but it will come with a full arm based linux distro. so all the web apps your talking abought will work. and when adobe finnly releases arm based flash 10 they have been promising for a year now so will youtube. the little thing has plenty of power. they call it a handheld but its relly a gaming umpc.

The pandora isn't just for emulation, it's a small umpc with a good homebrew game community.

Also the pandora has quake 3, the dual nubs (something none of the psps have) would work great for fps games.

@JopeSane The only issue I see with pandora is that it uses an ARM processor. It would be nice if it were X86 so I could run a standard linux distro on it. But, pandora is supposed to get 10 hours worth of battery life, so it might be worth the hassle of dealing with an ARM processor. This might be good for a wearable computer.

Actually you can even install Ubuntu in it. So yes, you can run standard linux distro on it.

But because it uses an Arm processor, you can't instal Windows on it.

@dtfageet ID software released the source code for their old FPS'. I have Open Arena running on linux. It's based off the quake 3 arena source code. It runs great. Quake 3 arena maps work great on it. If you are a fan of quake 3, I would check out Open Arena. Great stuff and it's free!
