hey all

a few things. I was crossing yellow lines knowing the risk. I have a few videos without the civic in it, but I felt that having someone in front gave more of the sense of speed and it shows better how twisty the dragon is. It also makes for a more interesting video.

I've been to the dragon 4 times and its an amazing road. There are many great roads in that area.

a car can corner quicker than a bike...more rubber on the road, simple physics. i agree, the bike can keep up on that road but it has more to do with acceleration than anything in this situation. but yes he is all over the road, he should keep it in his lane, but he didnt, and thats bad form on the Dragon. and believe me, the dragon is MUCH tighter in real life than on videos. go ride it and youll see just how demanding US129 is. its not for the faint of heart.

There are many reasons why he isnt keeping up and one could be simply that hes not trying to, another may be the simple law of physics. There is no way Ben Spies, on two wheels could keep up with Jenson Button, on four.
