whats wrong with it is the base ruined? if so then just base coat it (dont spray can) it with chaos gray on the base or put grass and gravel on it ? anyway good modells so far that ive seen
im gonna start collecting space marines and i was just wondering can u paint them ANY colour u want cus im thinkin black with green trims or dark green with brown trims can somone leave me a pm plz cus i gotta no before i start painting
Im sorry you effed up your marine, but that was funny to hear your anger about it. I did the same thing back in the day when necrons came out. I ruined a bunch of undead robots before i figured it out, and I agree with you... DONT @#%!'N DO IT!

Speed well there are a few armys to look at. DO you want speed + CC or just speed with some cool little tricks. I would say Eldar can be very fast with some nice tricks and then you have Blood Angels that are fast and are nice in cc, and then you have nids that can be very fast and good CC and dont forget Dark eldar...they are fast with great cc!
I use Future Floor Wax it is a clear acrylic that I then mix with ink. I brush it on sparingly. It settles in the crevices and recesses. It is easy to control and gives great results. I usually mix a big batch, three bottles of ink to a large bottle of floor wax. For example 1 black 2 brown for a nice brown stain. It makes all the colors blend well. It will give them a gloss finish, the way around that is to apply a dull coat or mat finish, this will give you a matt and wear and tear protection.
they look good but they are missing one thing which would finish the models off nicely. They look a little flat at the moment, give them a snakebite leather watered down wash and it will instantly add shading to the model and make it look better.
mix the snake bite with a clear acrylic like the floor wax and it will not get any drying rings and it will flow really nicely, just a little tip that has always worked for me. I even use a little of that mixes with water as a flow improver, when thinning the paint. that or a few drops of detergent.
Hmm... thin the stain a bit. Don't drown the guys, brush the stuff on. Also, leave it to actually set down... it takes about 24 hours to dry.

tip for darkening ur imperial fist wait until the new gw ink washs come out ive tested them out and they work fantastic on the models darkening.
