No Athena is Helo's bitch she was on the galactica during that time..I'm guessing this eight might be just someone random or it's boomer...But boomer wouldn't help the galactica crew since she was killed by her own friends (boomer shot the old man)

The 8s are a funny. Six often refers to her as weak, because her model tends to be more sympathetic towards humans. Boomer has become the exception. Her experiences on Galactica have tainted her. This is apparent when she voted with Cavil against the rest of her model. I wouldnt be surprised if its just a new version of 8 we havent met yet.

Athena was never on New Caprica. She stayed on board Galactica with Helo. Her baby Hera was on New Caprica, but that was with her foster mother Maya.

It's a different Eight. "There are many copies" remember??? This is obviously a different one and it was obvious she was at least supposed to be on the Cylon side during the occupation. Athena was on Galactica until the end of Precipce. Gaeta would have known who she was instantly if she was Athena..

Did they ever disclose what Gaeta did on New Caprica that Gaius got him riled up about? Gaeta was pissed off/worried enough about the hint that he tried killing him in one episode, but if he was trying to free people on new caprica and side with the resistance, how does that make sense? What would he have to be worried about? Seems like they just left that part hanging unless i've missed something.
