Danny Boy is scheduled to screen on Sunday Oct, 22nd at 3:30pm at the Hollywood Film Festival (great slot!). It is hosted by Starz and is a pretty big event;

It will be at the Arc Light Theater in Hollywood. You are all invited to come see the screening and hang out!

Thanks for posting this. I confess I followed Gabriel Damon's name here, but it's always a delight to see Clint Howard in anything. (I think I saw him last in "Cinderella Man," one of those "Hey! Is that...?" moments.)

The trailer looks very interesting, and I really like how the music transitions at the end to "Danny Boy." I looked up the Big Island FF website and now I'm really curious to see the whole thing. Congrats on winning the award!

Gabem and Clint are good friends ... I will definately work with them again. They will not be at the Sacramento Film Fest, but there will be others coming up that I'm sure they will attend.

How do we get a hold of this short after it makes its festival run? I'd love to see the whole film. Why does Gabriel's character have the same name as the person he is mistaken for (Danny/Daniel)? What is the favor? I have my guesses, but I'd love to see the whole film to find out for sure.

Thanks for the kind words. Actually, the film is already out. It has won a couple of awards and is making its way through the film festival circuit. It will be screening at the Sacramento Film And Music Festival in August.

Awwh, Gabe Damon has grown up so much since 1991 when he played Spot in Newsies, as well as when he voiced for Littlefoot in "The Land Before Time". <3 This made me smile. Thanks for putting this video up!
