Upper Gauley rocked man! Had Kent Roberts as my guide...he was really good! A friend's boat hit Dildo Rock at Sweet's Falls....WHOA! The humanity of it all.....good stuff. Then on Friday I did a Marathon run of the upper and lower Gauley....WORKOUT! May try to guide next year. If you don't raft you should!
My biggest heart stopping moment this year was when I got ejected at 'Heaven's Gate' (Heaven Help Us) and had to go to the left of 'Left Gate'. I had no idea a 18 ft raft would fit there......
