Fatal error no.1 if you cannot find coal, yet you have enough stone to make a furnace, (spare stone) then open your furnace, put a log on the source and a wooden plank to be cooked? :L or vice versa; whichever way... it will make charcoal. This is exactly the same as coal, can make torches and can be used as a source in a furnace. same burning times etc. but you dont have to find it... thumbs up so every one can see :)
