  • this omelette is way overcooked, even for a country style. the temperature tips are excellent, but once you pour the egg in you should mix it more to give less curd, and get it off the heat sooner

  • I have spent the entire morning looking at omelet recipes. I must say that your recipe is the best one I've seen on YouTube. You have an excellent balance of the right type of butter. You also made it clear that an omelet at its best doesn't have to be complicated with creams, oils, or inside toppings. Kudos. I will use your video in the future when I teach my beloved how to cook.

  • well done...nice video and omellete...

  • tried it this way but used massdamer cheese on bread. great!

  • As simple as the omelet, thank you. Best I've ever made

  • im gunna need a salamander

  • Good video

  • u r cool. i like cooking very much

  • Just made a fluffy omelet following these interesting and easy instructions. Yum! Thank you, wired gourmet.

  • Intresting method, never tryed it myself since it seems like it needs more presision than the old fold it half circle way

  • Interesting Thomas's contribution, with small variations like the grated cheese, the salt, the pepper and the parsley at the end of the preparation.

  • this looks simple, but it does take a little practice. the recipe may not impress people who are used to tons of ingredients in an omelet, but the eggs, with the brie on toast is a really nice combo. all you need are some black truffles to finish it off. swinging pad by the way.

  • I've watched this for about a month now and I learn something new every time. You are a master. It seems extremely simple, but the temperature of the pan is the key! Thank you for the information sir, and I await your next tutorial.

  • I'll tell you what, I might be able to appreciate an omelette as simple and barely done as this, but I can guarantee you the average diner would turn this away. But I do agree with the simplicity of ingredients and foods. Taste can be manipulated without all the bells and whistles.

  • I'm flattered, but I'm afraid you'll have to ask someone else to accommodate your rather unusual appetite.

  • q coño hace el tio este?? q pensabas hacer con la tortilla plegandola d esa manera con los dedos, un avioncito d papel o q???

  • shut up dude..

  • Seguro que todavia te prepara tu madre las tortillas... A mi me parece una tortilla sencilla pero a su vez imaginativa y creo que debe estar muy rica.

  • YES!!! thanks. it worked perfect. i've been trying to make omelets for about 2 years hahaha. i always screw up and end up just making em scrambled
