12 volt battery will not fit..and the wiring is wrong....purchase a sodering iron ...cut out the opening to fit the
the 12 volt battery...try to allow the air to come up through the bottom of the car.. Wire nut the 6 volt and 12 volt connectors together.so you can plug in and charge your 12 volt battery..(throw away 6 volt battery) plug in the car and charge the car, at the same time. Hold the battery with card board. Buy another 12 volt, and 6 volt battery..and throw away the 6 volt
Any damage possible to the motors from this upgrade? And please specify on the battery you bought. I just ordered the new model McQueen and just realized it's just a 6v. Help please
Any luck on modifying your Mcqueen? Just bought my son the new 6 volt model and then purchased a 12 volt powerwheels battery thinking it would be as easy as unplugging 6 volt and plugging in 12 volt. Not the case. My 12 volt didn't even come with any wires. Obviously, know next to nothing about this stuff. Any specific help would be greatly appreciated!
go buy a 12volt battery from walmart or somewhere motorcycle battery fits under the hood if you pull the engine cover,Cut your wires on your battery and connect to new battery your up and running in minutes
I wanted to get my son the 12V Power Wheel Jeep, but my In-Laws beat me to it,
as it has taken me some time as money is tight. Anyway, my In-Laws got him the 6V Lighting McQueen! The worst part about it is that the little punk neighbor kid has a Hummer and passes my son pretty good. Every time I take my son riding, this kid comes out harassing him and slamming into him and making fun. My son is always asking me why his car does not go fast? Anyway I can put little more pep? 12V battery maybe? ty
