  • was probably the Sun

  • Adams: one of the most misunderstood men of his time, vindicated by David McCullough's biography and this mini-series. He is one of the greatest patriots of these United States and our we owe much of our prosperity to him.

  • You vain git Adams

  • JIM MORIARTY IS STANDING BEHIND ADAMS!

The revolutionall was his idea, the swine!

  • i laughed very hard when he said "here is someone calling for me to be hanged"

  • for British press in all its vulgarity of today read Murdock/Newscorp press, I mean the Washington Post is a fine journal, not to mention that fair and ballanced network

  • sorry to post twice, but Johns butler is Professor Moriarty, look out john!

  • vile. v i l e.

  • who else but beckett?

  • And people ask me why i hate the press Huh!

  • It seems like the press in England always have had close ties to the government...

  • @VegardMinde what is that supposed to mean?

  • @mak34237 Basically they don't print truth, only what the goverment want to be truth.

  • Has there ever been a time when the press in this country wasn't downright vyle, apparently not.

  • @tribetng "This country?" Do you mean America?

Well that wasn't the point of the scene. No need for sarcasm.

  • @KamuiMosir No, i meant England in this scene John Adams is in England visiting the king and the English press (the newspapers) are being particularly poisonous, as i watched this scene i was struck by the fact that our newspapers (i am English, that's why i say our) are just as bad today, if not worse. When i wrote the words "this country" i was referring to England (I'm currently in England so i used the word "this") Now i think some of that has come across as sarcastic whops?

  • @tribetng Oh. My mistake.

I should have done a little more research.

    1. Visit your page. There I'd find that "King Harold" from channel 4 has been blocked from my viewing.

    2. You used the word "vyle" I think I'm the only native in all of California that uses that word.

    Well, apologies.

  • @KamuiMosir No prob, no hard feelings etc (BTW i hope the "sarcastic" thing didn't offended it was meant to be good natured) to be honest I'm the only person i know who uses vyle, which is a shame because its a great word. As far as king Harold, is there some way i can change it so you can see it? I'm a bit clueless when it comes to computers so i have to ask, if there is let me know and i'll change it for you (if you still want to see it of course)

  • @tribetng No need. Its just been blocked for copyright reasons.

  • @tribetng slightly more elequaint headlines, no tits only difference
