The metal I like is pretty old, songs like for whom the bell tolls (before metallica went shit), some of black sabbath's riffs are incredible too. used to love iron maiden, now find them kinda cheesy, Arch Enemy too i used to like (till i found out it was a woman and decided her voice could only be the work of Satin) and Chimara, children of bodom etc. anyone BUT BFMV, just something about the whineyness of it.

I wouldn't call the beatles an all out rock band, i'd call them an alternative/psychedelic/pop/fock rock band, they don't fit a genre cus they cover SO MUCH stuff, from catchy pop to mind bending psychedelia. @momscarface2 yep, i had the BFMV EP, The Poison, Scream Aim Fire (don't forget i said i USED to like them, so i have listened to them). and i've listened to most of the tracks on Fever, including that lame song where he whispers the prechorus or whatever. All of which i find totally bland and kinda lame now. i find it hard to believe that you have ACTUALLY listened to the bulk of the beatles' stuff, if you had, you wouldn't be argueing the way u are about this band being 'good'
