I know his condition isn't ideal, but he seems way higher functioning then my brother and cousin. Talking this consistently and clearly, even if prompted is a -huge- step. My autistic brother in 18 and he can only speak in two word replies. You're very lucky, all things considered. I know that either of you having to deal with this in the first place hurts like hell, but you're very fortunate. So is he in having a mother like you =) I wish you both the best <33
