he is an ass, he was from my hometown. yes he was talented, but was an ass at one of his concerts there for no reason. I was like 12 we built a bad ass stage for him and he came out said he hated us, that town, and would never be back. Nobody ever asked him to come. He just did. Walked off stage, and Willie had come to open for him, or Tracy Lawerance can't remeber which yr was which, but they ended up playing the whole concert.
WAYLON has a song for all occasions. i just keep listening to WAYLON as my life goes along. it's nice to be able to do that with your favorite singer. never will have to change WAYLON covered all stages somewhere along the way.thx for so many great post and all the wonderful information acashfan1 that you provide us with.
Well, I'm sure there's a lot of women that would say the same thing (if they know who Waylon was) but he already had a "true fine woman" and he loved her more than anything.
you got that right, you can see the love they had for each other was incredible!! check out him singing " where would i be with out you" shows there love and devotion
Amen, but I have to say, as a constant Waylon researcher (and one that would take a bullet for him I might add), I'm sure there are a lot of "personal" songs that he wrote for Jessi, that we will never, ever hear. She wrote "Storms Never Last" just for him, and wasn't even ever going to record it, she actually threw it away! But he made her pull it out of the can, and change a few of the words. He wrote a lot of songs for her, about her, and meant every word he said.
