It looks like you have Honda Odyssey 99-04. This mini-van has very weak and unreliable transmission. It usually breaks on 80k - 90k mileage. Your odometer shows 80k miles. Guess what happens when transmission breaks on 120 mph speed. It falls down from 5-4th gear to 2nd or 1st gear avoiding 3rd gear. You will lose control on you car and you car will roll over.

No the 06 - 07 Honda odysseys have 244 hp...

the older 02 n 03's have 255 hp...

honda made the horsepower lower... but still made the vtec n ESC n stuff like that in both of them...

The Society of Automotive Engineers changed the horsepower testing method for 2006. 2002-2004 had 240 horses under the old method. The 2005 had 255 (an increase of 15). The 2006-2007 is listed at 244, but the engine is just as powerful as the 2005 model.

Note vehicles like the Acura TL (270hp down to 258hp, the Acura RL from 300 to 290, Toyota's Avalon from 280 to 268hp, and so on).

The 2002-2004 models had 240hp, but under the new rating system it would be lower.

I had a serious accident when I was going 123mph a month ago..I was on the interstate when someone sudenly cut in front of me..so I lost control but I managed to keep the van from rooling over like a dozen times. Stalled out but I was on my way within 20 minutes. Goin 120 in a minivan can be fun but it can be evry dangerous..just be careful.

This Odyssey is a 1999-2001. Note the "D4" showing, meaning this was the 210hp model with the 4-speed automatic. The 240hp model and the 255/244hp models have 5-speed automatics. This 210hp model is slower than the newer ones (we had a 2000 model, and it was slower than my aunt's 2005).

We also have a 2000 with 141k miles on it, but even new it ran slower than my uncle's '03.

If you look at the other gear marker designations, starting from the bottom up, it's 1-2. There's two D designations so obviously the next one would be D3, then the next D4.

..hence that's how you know it's in D4..
