I lived at that bar for six months my room was next to the bar . The police have no choice but to ignore the drugs at the place. The boats need workers the town needs all those guys . All kinds inhabit this place good and bad. it was hard for my sleep thou all the crack heads liked to deal outside my window. Dutch is one of the most scenice places in the world i love it ! Wild horses,eagles ,foxes,whales,mountains. The elbow room and unisea are fun bars . gorgeous bar tenders in 2004

They should have done Cops: Unalaska before they did Deadliest Catch.

This guy actually has a pretty easy job. All the big processors have basically their own police force. Being called a security guard has a little more clout up there, and those guys take care of most of the drunk and disorderly, because if you diss the security, you get a flight to Seattle..

Dutch Harbor's more like a small communist nation than an American community in that regard.
