and a couple of jackasses in the audience say "Except Inara." I hope that was meant as a joke because Morena Baccarin is terrific in that role. Inara could have come off as a really cliche character if it had been anyone other than Morena.

Indaro is right, Morena wasn't the original Inara. Someone else was filmed for that role first, then Joss thought she didn't really fit Inara, so they got Morena. Which is why the fan said the actress for Inara didn't fit her.
