  • Thank You "tferguson567" for honoring Jeremia Denton,he served his country proudly. He didn't stop serving when he returned home! To this very day he still serves! In 1980 he became the first Republican ever elected by popular vote to the U S. Senate from Alabama, the first resident of Mobile elected to the U.S. Senate, the first retired military officer and the first Catholic elected to any statewide office in Alabama,

  • I Love my country thank you service men for keeping it safe

  • GOD BLESS THE USA

  • Fantastic song and presentation. Good sir, please pass on my honest thanks to your son for his service.

  • I wish to thank all of our soldiers for their service to our country. God bless all of them!!! My prayers are with you and your safe return.

  • I also first heard this son at parris island. After a long hard first week I finally got a break we we went to chapel. After being so intense for a week it was such a relief to be able to relax and worship Jesus.God bless the Chaplains and the USMC Oo-RA!

  • As a retired serviceman and Marine father I say to each of you Semper Fi. Hearing my former commander and Chief Reagan brought back memories and pride that I have not lost. Thank each of you who serves this great nation.

  • Thank You Marines

    Semper Fi

  • my very last sunday on Parris Island, we sang this in chapel, our arms across each other holding up our Eagle, Globe, and Anchors, it was such moving moment. it really put our newly accepted responsibilty as Marines into perspective. No one who hasn't been through Marine Corps Recruit training can understand. Years of hearitage and tradition are summed up in that one symbol of the Eagle, Globe and Anchor

  • I can't wait until next year... I need to be a junoir to join and it seems so far away!

I can't wait for the honor to serve!

  • God Bless America!

    Semper Fidelis...

  • The first time I heard this song was at the Recruit Chapel in church on a Sunday in Boot Camp on Parris Island...and the entire place sang it together...and we screamed "Oohrah!" in the middle of the chorus..shit it brings back memories...I love this song.

  • Semper Fidelis...I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees!

  • I wish to thank all the men and women who have fought for our freedom and the freedom of others

  • I thank everyone of you that have commented! Your words mean a lot to me!

    God Bless and Semper Fi!

    Teri

  • Jeremiah A. Denton Jr. wrote a book, called... When Hell was in Session. I suggest you all read it. It's about his struggle while he was a POW.

    This is a great vid.

  • Oh man, this brings back memories... and the photos of the PI grinder are priceless. Semper Fidelis.

  • The first time I heard this song, I was at Lt. Shane Osborn's homecoming celebration after the China Spy Plane incident in 2001. Every time I hear it now, I get chills all over. I am so grateful to all Americans, past, present, and future who give their lives for my freedom! THANK YOU!!!

  • Very moving...

3,500 Americans have now given their lives and the gift of freedom to 38 million Iraq citizens.

Freedom is not free. Never has been, never will be.

  • The USA is truely a great country in maney ways. And every American I have talked to , I have come to like.

I am very grateful that Norway and USA are allied.

I really would like it better if Europe and the USA were even more united. Under the UN foreksample. But , well well.

If I were not an atheist I think I at this point would say God bless America. You know what I`m meaning.

    Longe live your freedom-loving country!

  • This is a great video, my husband is serving his second tour in Iraq and just seeing the flag brings tears to my eyes. These men and women DON'T get the respect they deserve.

  • May God bless your husband abundantly with love and protection for his service. And thank you for standing by him in all ways!

  • Beautiful!!! My son is planning on entering the Army soon, my daughter served in Iraq 2 years ago so it hit home.

  • May God bless you and your son and your daughter!! Thank them for me!

  • First off, I love this video, I love the tribute you're giving to such wonderful people. Two, I am truly happy to see Bush being honored, especially with all the heat he's getting now, and third and foremost I thank your son for answering the call. God Bless you, your son, and America!!

  • Thank you so much for your comment! I agree with your words. The men I honored, including my son are hero's to me! God bless you as well!
