  • i have windows 7 ultimate...how do u change between windows like that at 0:15???

  • The black man speaks.

Intel has better processors, AMD/ATI has the best graphics cards, intels GPU seem to be better at web surfing, i have an HD 4650 & Athlon II x4 630 and Hulu is choppy as hell :( and yet with my little Pentium M laptop Hulu works perfectly.

  • how did you get that Cool Alt tab thing .. mine only comes with a little box with all my stuff in ? ..

  • I never knew AMD & ATi where designed for Windows 7. Or the other way round

  • much prefer AMD. I have a 3 year old HP AMD Athlon 64 x2 with windows 7 on it and it runs as smooth as anything as if I just got it out the box still. the girlfriends intel core 2 duo laptop..... afraid I can't say the same for that.

  • what benchmarks that

  • AMD sucks but I prefer ATI over Nvidia...too bad AMD is holding ATI back

  • love amd!!! .. i just built new budget gaming pc and i love it..

    AM3 Athlon IIx3 425

    2GBx2 DDR3 1600mhz

    HD5770 1024MB GDDR5

  • I love AMD. Their stuff always wins out over intel within the price range Im always looking at.

  • AMD strikes back!! waiting for october 22 here in spain to run windows7 in my 4 years old AMDx2 4800 (best processor ever created).

  • I have AMD ATI Radeon : ) It's kind of exciting....

  • legalzinhu

  • Cool, comparison consumption of a light bulb and a PC this is an nice comparison.

  • phenom ftw

  • what program do you use to record the desktop?

  • camtasia studio

  • I am just saying, 23 fps really isn't anything to use as a selling point.

  • lol so you rather pick the x4500 and get 9?

  • well they're probably using their integrated graphics here instead of the better radeon cards

  • correction: They are advertising integrated graphics here Radeon HD 4200

and 27FPS is pree good for integrated

  • AMD ROCKS!!!!

  • Where can I buy this computer they tested with?

I found the gateway Gateway DX4200-09 around $450

    AMD Phenom X4 Quad-Core 9100e 1.8 GHz / 4GB RAM / 640GB / ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

probably the best computer right now, but alot of places are out of stock :(

    AMD ftw :)

  • order it from best buy if threyer still in stock :D or pick it up at a bb store

  • I bet we all know what they mean with 'their platform' , eh? :p

  • is that a S880 Chipset?

  • no, this is the AMD 785G chipset. It features ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics. You'll have to wait a little longer for the AMD 8-Series chipsets :-)

  • haha, okay ;d <3

  • intressting video

  • AMD is launching a new mainstream desktop platform tomorrow and with price performance that the competition can't touch. New AMD Athlon II X4 quad-core processors deliver more cores at a better value - mix in superior AMD IGP chipsets and you will be hard pressed to find better value.

  • Thanks a lot for posting a reply to the comment thread. Good to see AMD being involved in conversations with users.

I do have one question, though: is the AMD Athlon II X4 Quad-Core CPU slower or faster than it's Phenom II X4 brother?

  • In the Benchmark tests is the Athlon || X4

    always in the middle range.

  • I heard that the main difference between Athlon II and Phenom II is the Level 3 cache. So in a way it's a bit slower.

  • These new Athlon II X4 processors carry a lower frequency than some of the Phenom II processors; and as AkoyPinoy2 says, Athlon II processors do not have L3 cache. However, without L3, the die is smaller and can be more efficient. These new Athlon II's have a 95W TDP, while the majority of Phenom II parts are 125W TDP. Go to 'more information in the video description, it will take you to the press kit for more detail.

  • What about the core i5 ??

which represnts a majore threat to the

    Ph II !!

    v v v v v v v

  • Not at their current prices they aren't.

  • hahahahaha old!

    try out "their" new stuff!

  • Well at the moment AMD wins the mainstream market while Intel wins at the Enthusiast and Mobile markets. But... The Core i3's may let Intel also win the Mainstream market.

  • DAMN YOU OTHER PLATFORM

  • funny how they're not mentioning the core i7s........

  • Rofl! yeah... "hey lets compare our latest and greatest to the previous generation of intel's"

  • i know right?.....

  • Can't you read the tittle above it says MAINSTREAM PC...... Do you understand what Mainstream means? i7's are for the enthusiast markets, is not priced any near the mainstream market.....

  • for me though, within the i7s, 920 is considered mainstream. 940 is useless and 965 and975 is enthusiast

  • if the 920's mainstream what would you call the core i7 800 series and core i5 700 series... their mainstream in my opinion.

  • a compromise? xD

  • Well that's your opinion, !!!!! with in the price range and the parts that are needed to use the i7 is pretty expensive these days so not ALL consumers can afford to build or buy a i7 based systems.......... Mainstream means - majority, majority of the people today cant really afford a i7 based system.....

    Take Care and God Bless!

  • explain about the i5 then. the i5 clearly beats all amd cpu's, at the same price range.

  • so what???stupid intelboy......

  • wtf, why call me an intelboy? i have built many systems with both intel and amd. all i am saying is the i5 clearly beats the current Amd cpu's im using an intel and amd system atm..

  • Comment removed

  • welll of course that my opinion. thats why i bothered to post it in the first place. lol. thx for teh blessing. =)

  • Lol! Intel now gets recognised as "their platform"

  • cool

  • AWSOME!!
