Yes, I thinned it down carefully with water. Be careful of adding too much water as it would be difficult then to remove it from the paper. It is best to experiment on the paper you will be using as some are inclined to rip when removing the masking fluid.

Great idea. You didn't tell us how you thinned the masking fluid. Water? Would be helpful to know as I just started using this stuff.
